The Memmert UN75 (MPN UN75) is more than just a drying cabinet – it is a piece of German engineering excellence for your laboratory. With an internal volume of 74 litres, this model offers the perfect mid-range size for a wide variety of applications in research, industry and medicine. The designation ‘UN’ stands for ‘universal cabinet with natural convection’. This means that heat is distributed solely by thermal convection, without the need for a disruptive fan. This makes the UN75 the first choice for drying powders, granulates or sensitive samples that could be blown away by an air draught.

Intuitive operation with ControlCOCKPIT (SingleDISPLAY)

Forget complicated menus. The UN75 is controlled via the revolutionary ControlCOCKPIT. This high-resolution TFT touchscreen display (“SingleDISPLAY”) allows you to set all parameters – temperature, air damper position and timer – with a single touch. Thanks to digital monitoring, you can keep an eye on the process status at all times. The “Setup” function also allows you to easily set the language, time zone and summer time.

Precision and pre-heating chamber technology

Memmert is renowned for its unique heating technology. The all-round heating system is protected behind deep-drawn ribs inside the chamber. This ensures direct and uniform heat transfer to the load. A particular highlight is the preheating chamber: fresh air is preheated before it enters the interior. This prevents temperature fluctuations during air exchange and guarantees extremely consistent results, even during sensitive drying processes up to +300 °C.

Stainless steel perfection

The interior and the outer casing are made of high-quality, textured stainless steel (grade 1.4301). This material is not only aesthetically pleasing but, above all, functional: it is scratch-resistant, robust and extremely easy to clean. Memmert cabinets are renowned for withstanding decades of tough laboratory use without losing their lustre or functionality.

Safety for your samples

The UN75 features dual over-temperature protection. An electronic temperature monitoring system switches off the heating in the event of faults, whilst an additional mechanical temperature limiter (TB) acts as an ‘emergency brake’. This reliably protects your valuable samples and the unit.
