Product information "Unigloves Yellow Pearl Nitrile Gloves, Yellow, Powder-free, Size M, GP0113"
Colour-coding reduces the risk of mix-ups, particularly where several people or work areas are operating simultaneously. Unigloves Yellow Pearl are yellow, latex-free, single-use nitrile gloves with textured fingertips for a secure grip, even during wet or oily tasks. The rolled cuff provides additional support at the wrist and makes the gloves easier to put on.
Latex-free, thiuram-free and low in proteins
As a disposable glove made entirely from nitrile, the Yellow Pearl is completely latex-free and, according to the manufacturer, thiuram-free and protein-free – relevant for anyone who needs to take into account allergies to natural latex or sensitisation to vulcanisation accelerators (thiurams). The palm has a thickness of 0.09 ± 0.03 mm; the median tear strength is at least 6.0 N both before and after artificial ageing.
Chemical protection in accordance with EN 374, Category III, Type C
The glove is certified as a chemical-protective glove in accordance with EN ISO 374-1 (Category III, Type C) and also provides protection against viruses, fungi and bacteria in accordance with EN ISO 374-5. Against 40% sodium hydroxide solution, a permeation level of 6 (the highest level on the scale) was determined in accordance with EN 374-4, with a degradation of -5.3%.
Medical grade in accordance with EN 455
The Yellow Pearl gloves comply with EN 455 (Parts 1–4) for medical single-use gloves, are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485:2021 as part of a certified quality management system, and are certified as PPE under EU Regulation 2016/425 (type examination Module B & Module C2, notified body CCQS, #2834). With an AQL of 1.5, they achieve a high level of watertightness in the 1,000-ml watertightness test. Furthermore, they are food-safe and suitable for contact with all types of food.
Areas of application
The Yellow Pearl gloves are suitable for use in laboratories, doctors’ surgeries and dental practices, in food processing (certified as food-safe), in tattoo and piercing studios, and in the cosmetics industry. Yellow is one of several colours in the Unigloves Pearl range – the specific colour-coding according to work area, shift or process step helps to prevent mix-ups between different workstations, for example when several glove colours are in use simultaneously within the same facility. As a bold, high-visibility colour, yellow is also well suited to providing a clear visual distinction from other Pearl colours on the same shelf or trolley.
