Unigloves Yellow Pearl Nitrile Gloves, Yellow, Powder-free, Size S, GP0112

Product information "Unigloves Yellow Pearl Nitrile Gloves, Yellow, Powder-free, Size S, GP0112"

The Unigloves Yellow Pearl nitrile gloves come in yellow, one of the classic signal colours in the Pearl range, and also state a manufacturing tolerance: the width tolerance is ± 10 mm across all five sizes. They are powder-free, latex-free, thiuram-free and protein-free, fully nitrile-dipped, with textured fingertips and a rolled cuff. The Yellow Pearl nitrile gloves are sold in cartons of 1,000 pieces (10 boxes of 100 pieces each), in five sizes from XS to XL.

0.09 mm thick with a generous fit

The width of Yellow Pearl gloves ranges from 70 mm for XS, through 80 mm, 95 mm and 110 mm for S, M and L, up to 120 mm for XL, each with a tolerance of ± 10 mm, a generous fit. The thickness at the palm is 0.09 mm (± 0.03 mm); the data sheet does not specify values for the fingertips or cuff. The length is at least 240 mm in all sizes, and the median force at break is at least 6.0 N both before and after artificial ageing.

Tested according to EN 455 and EN ISO 374, Category III, Type C

Yellow Pearl is classified as a Category III, Type C chemical protection glove according to EN ISO 374-1 and also provides protection against viruses, fungi and bacteria according to EN ISO 374-5. In a test with 40 % sodium hydroxide solution according to EN 374-4, the highest permeation level 6 was achieved, with a degradation rate of minus 5.3 %. Manufacturing takes place under a quality management system certified to DIN EN ISO 13485:2021; the type examination according to Modules B and C2 of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 is carried out by CCQS (Notified Body 2834). The AQL value of 1.5 in the watertightness test describes the watertightness of the glove; according to the manufacturer, it is also food-safe.

Typical applications

The eye-catching signal colour and generous fit make Yellow Pearl a practical choice in a range of situations:

  • Warning zones and marking stations where a highly visible signal colour is required
  • Cleaning and domestic services, where yellow is traditionally used as a colour-coding system
  • Food processing (food-safe according to the manufacturer)
  • Work involving 40 % sodium hydroxide solution and comparable chemicals, within the scope of the tested EN 374 Category III

The generous width tolerance of ± 10 mm per size can also be helpful when staff with different hand shapes are required to use the same size.

Application and packaging

Like the other nitrile gloves in the Pearl range, Yellow Pearl is a non-sterile, single-use glove that can be worn on either hand. The carton of 1,000 pieces, divided into 10 boxes of 100 pieces each, is suitable for businesses with regular consumption, such as laboratories, medical practices or workshops with multiple workstations, as individual boxes can be made available independently at different stations.

Yellow Pearl in the Pearl range

Yellow Pearl is one of twelve colours in the Unigloves Pearl range available from us. Orange Pearl is available as a related warm signal colour, whilst Black Pearl provides a dark contrast to yellow. All colours in the range share the same basic construction made from fully dipped nitrile, but differ, according to their respective data sheets, in details such as material thickness, width tolerance and scope of certification.
