WTW SenTix 21 plastic pH electrode (gel electrolyte, BNC connector), 103631

Product information "WTW SenTix 21 plastic pH electrode (gel electrolyte, BNC connector), 103631"

The WTW SenTix 21 is a robust and reliable standard pH electrode, specially designed for routine use in the laboratory, in training or for field measurements. As the ‘workhorse’ of the SenTix range, it combines durability with ease of use.

Robust design for laboratory and field use

The shaft of the SenTix 21 is made of robust plastic (polypropylene), not glass. This makes the electrode extremely resistant to mechanical damage and ideal for environments where glass breakage poses a risk, such as in teaching, outdoor measurements or in production.

Low-maintenance thanks to gel electrolyte

The main advantage of this electrode is its low maintenance. It uses a gel electrolyte instead of a liquid KCl solution. This means that the electrolyte never needs to be topped up, which saves time and eliminates potential sources of error during maintenance. The fibre diaphragm ensures a stable electrolyte flow and reliable measurements in standard aqueous samples.

Connection and compatibility (BNC connector)

This model (MPN 103631) is fitted with a 1-metre fixed cable and a BNC connector. The BNC connector is the universal standard for most pH meters from various manufacturers (with the exception of WTW meters, which often require a proprietary DIN connector).

Important measurement note (No ATC)

Please note that this model does not have an integrated temperature sensor (ATC). For automatic temperature compensation, a separate temperature probe (e.g. TFK 325) must be connected to the meter.
