Anyone who needs to take samples of both low-viscosity and high-viscosity media on site usually requires two different samplers, each with its own container. The Quali Sampler Set combines a LiquiSampler and a ViscoSampler with five sample bottles and a cleaning brush in a 121 cm long carrying case, so that both samplers are stored together, ready for use in the field.

Two samplers for different viscosities

The LiquiSampler in the set is designed for low-viscosity media, whilst the ViscoSampler is designed for more viscous liquids; both are the 100-cm version. This means the set covers a wider viscosity range than a single sampler could, without the need to carry a separate device for every application.

Five bottles and a cleaning brush in the case

The scope of delivery includes five 100 ml HDPE bottles for direct filling on site, as well as a cleaning brush that can be used to clean both samplers between samples to prevent carry-over. The carrying case measures 121 x 22 x 11 cm and holds all the components required for on-site use.

Materials: PP, PTFE and other plastics

The plastic components of the two samplers consist, amongst other things, of polypropylene and polytetrafluoroethylene, supplemented by fluoroethylene-propylene, polyvinylidene fluoride, aluminium and a seal made of acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber. Individually or as a set

Anyone who only requires one of the two sampler types, or needs a different length, will find the individual products available as the ViscoSampler PP and in a PTFE/FEP version. For smaller sample volumes with a similar design, the Mini ViscoSampler is also available. The Quali Sampler Set, on the other hand, is ideal for anyone who wishes to have both sampler types to hand in the same case.

A case for field use

Instead of transporting two samplers separately and organising a separate storage space for each, the case keeps both devices, the five bottles and the cleaning brush together in one fixed place. This reduces the risk of forgetting a necessary item on site, particularly for appointments outside one’s own laboratory.

Cleaning between two sample types

The cleaning brush provided is used to remove residues from the LiquiSampler and ViscoSampler between two sampling sessions. This is particularly important when sampling different batches or media in succession and it is essential to prevent carry-over from one sample to the next.

Five bottles for multiple samples in a single session

With five 100 ml HDPE bottles, several samples can be collected during a single field visit without having to empty and reuse the bottles in between. This saves time on site and keeps the individual samples cleanly separated from one another until they are analysed in the laboratory.
