Elma Elmasonic Easy 300H Ultrasonic Bath with Heating, 27.5 Litre, 37 kHz, 1118902

The Elma Elmasonic Easy 300H has 27.5 litres total volume, the heater delivers 1,200 W, and the ultrasound 300 W effective at 1,200 W peak. The internal dimensions of 475 x 270 x 195 mm match those of the Elmasonic Select 300, and the controls manage without a display and program memory, with rotary knobs, a start/stop button, a mode button and LED indicators. As items to be cleaned, Elma names industrial parts, filters and laboratory instruments.

Tank and basket

22.0 litres of working volume are recommended at a fill level of 165 mm. The modular cleaning basket 300 (Art. 1113072) has internal dimensions of 450 x 255 x 135 mm and carries up to 10.0 kg, and the distance between basket floor and liquid level is 135 mm. Compared with the Easy 180H (tank 300 x 270 x 195 mm), the tank is 175 mm wider, while depth (270 mm) and height (195 mm) are the same. Power also increases: from 200 W to 300 W ultrasound and from 800 W to 1,200 W heating.

Electrical data

The total power consumption is 1,500 W. The unit has a fan and is operated via an IEC power connector at 220 to 240 V~, 50/60 Hz. The temperature is adjustable between 25 and 80 °C, and at a bath temperature of 90 °C it switches off as a safety measure. With lid at a distance of 1 m, the sound pressure level stays below 80 dB(A). The unit weighs 11.0 kg and measures 575 x 375 x 330 mm externally (with lid).

Drain and accessories

The G 3/8 inch drain has a rotary knob for opening and closing, the hose connection measures 12 mm internal diameter, and the hose nozzle is included. Accessories for size 300: stainless steel lid 150/300 (Art. 1111933), plastic lid 150/300 (Art. 1003287 ultramarine blue, 1101135 cobalt blue, 1071699 silver grey), drain strainer (Art. 1045648) and cooling coil (Art. 1037515).

Operation

Cleaning duration and temperature are set with two rotary knobs, and the time steps are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes, plus ON for continuous operation with a stop after 6 hours at most. The mode button switches between Eco (quieter) and Dynamic (more intensive). After 8 hours without operation the unit switches off.

Easy 300H or Select 300

The Select 300 (Art. 1106995) has the same internal tank dimensions and 27.5 litres, plus an illuminated display, four programs that can be saved and the modes Eco, Sweep, Pulse, Dynamic and Degas. Anyone who needs such functions takes the Select. If a fixed set of time step, temperature and Eco or Dynamic is enough, the 300H is the simpler version. Anyone who needs less volume will find 17.8 litres in the Easy 180H and 12.9 litres in the Easy 120H.
