Many laboratories operate several stirring stations simultaneously and do not want to have to decide on a stand and clamp for each drive individually. The Hei-TORQUE Gold 2 package combines the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 200 drive with 200 Ncm of torque, a telescopic stand and a clamp into a single unit that can be set up at any workstation without modification.

200 Ncm for a wide range of applications

With a torque of 200 Ncm, the Ultimate 200 sits between the other two models in the series and thus covers a wide range of applications: viscosities up to 100,000 mPas and volumes up to 50 l of water equivalent, with a power consumption of 120 watts. The speed range extends from 10 to 2,000 revolutions per minute in a single gear stage; clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation are available as standard.

Complete mixing station, not just the drive

The drive includes a telescopic stand, order number 570-12100-00, and a clamp, order number 570-22000-00. Anyone wishing to equip several workstations with the same stirrer can purchase multiple Gold 2 packages without having to assemble the stand and clamp individually each time and check them for compatibility. The stand holds the drive at the desired height, whilst the clamp secures it throughout the entire stirring process, meaning no further accessories are required to begin the batch.

Remote control and documentation via Hei-Control

USB and RS232 interfaces connect the drive to a PC, a programmable logic controller (PLC) or an automation system such as LabManager. The Hei-Control software included in the Scope of delivery controls up to four devices simultaneously, saves ramp profiles and displays torque as a trend value. KTY motor protection, an automatic shut-off function and the touch-activated start/stop function ensure safety during continuous operation. The quick-release chuck with safety ring accommodates stirring shafts with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 10.5 millimetres, allowing anchor, blade, propeller and turbine stirrers to be clamped in place equally easily.

For lower torque requirements, the Hei-TORQUE Gold 1 package with 100 Ncm is usually sufficient; for viscous media and larger batches up to 250,000 mPas, the Hei-TORQUE Platinum package with 400 Ncm is more suitable. If a suitable stand is already available, the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 200 single unit is also sufficient.
