The Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 200 is the mid-range model in the Ultimate series and is designed for applications that require more power than the entry-level Ultimate 100. With a torque of 200 Ncm and a speed range of 10 to 2,000 rpm, it can stir volumes of up to 50 l (H2O) and media with a viscosity of up to 100,000 mPas, twice as much as the smaller model can handle.

Ramp programming for multi-stage processes

Like all Ultimate models, the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 200 can be controlled via ramp programming, combined with a timer function and a torque trend display as a numerical value. A stirring process comprising several phases, such as slow mixing followed by intensive dispersion, can thus be programmed once and recalled for every subsequent run, rather than having to be manually readjusted for each experiment.

Two interfaces for PC, PLC and LabManager

USB and RS232 allow the Ultimate 200 to be connected simultaneously to a PC, a programmable logic controller (PLC) or an automation system such as LabManager. The Hei-Control software, included as part of the scope of delivery, controls and logs up to four devices simultaneously, which simplifies documentation in laboratories with several stirring stations operating in parallel.

Designed for continuous operation in a fume cupboard

Weighing 5.1 kilograms and measuring 86 x 350 x 247 millimetres, the Ultimate 200 is compact enough to be installed in a fume cupboard. The EC motor is designed for continuous operation and remains below 70 dB(A). A KTY temperature monitoring system protects against overheating; in the event of an overload, the unit switches off automatically with a visual indication, and the touch-sensitive start/stop function reduces the risk of accidental activation whilst handling the stand.

Stirring tools as required

The quick-release chuck with safety ring accommodates stirring shafts with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 10.5 millimetres and is compatible with the full range of stirring elements, The scope of delivery includes blade agitators and propeller agitators with guide rings, as well as turbine agitators and Visco-Jet tools for viscous media. The agitator itself is not included in the scope of delivery and must be selected separately to suit the application.

Selection guide for the Hei-TORQUE series

Those who only require 100 Ncm will find the same ramp programming in a lighter unit with the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 100. If a process requires more torque or a two-stage gearbox for very viscous media, the Hei-TORQUE Ultimate 400 is the right choice. If ramp programming is not required, the Hei-TORQUE Expert 200 offers an easier-to-use variant with the same torque. The Ultimate 200 is available as part of the Hei-TORQUE Gold 2 package, complete with a telescopic stand and clamp.
