The ICC control eco 18 (MPN 0008035400) pairs the ICC control circulator with a plastic bath of size L, the IB 18 eco. The package consists of three parts: circulator, bath and BL.ICC bath bridge. The bath is limited to 100 °C and operation with water, even though the circulator works up to 150 °C.
The bath in size L
The opening at the bottom measures 245 x 305 mm, at the upper bath edge at most 286 x 325 mm. Compared with the bath of size S in the ICC control eco 8 with 188 x 105 mm at the bottom, the opening is considerably larger. The overall dimensions of the package are 338 x 584 x 349 mm, and for the S package 320 x 335 x 349 mm. The immersion depth is 85 to 125 mm. The bath is made of plastic and may be operated only with water.
Three components, no accessory pack
The scope of delivery comprises the circulator with ident number 0004136600, the IB 18 eco bath and the BL.ICC bath bridge. Cover, pump connection set and cooling coil are not included, and are contained in the c variant ICC control eco 18 c . The circulator is also available as the ICC control standalone unit. The pump sits in the circulator itself: the pressure/suction pump delivers up to 18 l/min at 0 bar back pressure, and its output is variable.
The ICC control circulator
A TFT screen shows working and safety temperature, and the display resolution is 0.01 K. The temperature stability according to DIN 12876 is ±0.01 K, and the set temperature can be set to an accuracy of 0.1 K. Control is by PID, measured with a PT 100 (working temperature) and a PT1000 (safety temperature). There is a dedicated connection for an external PT 100 probe. In addition, 10 individual procedures with up to 10 steps each can be stored.
Protection
The safety circuit is adjustable from 0 to 160 °C. The circulator warns visually and audibly, including for over-temperature, and monitors low and high level. It is classified under DIN 12876 as class III with the marking FL.
Eco or stainless steel, control or basic
The bath of size L is also available with the ICC basic circulator: the ICC basic eco 18 has an LED display and a temperature stability of ±0.02 K. If you want to control the temperature in the bath above 100 °C, you will find a stainless steel bath of size L up to 150 °C, for example, in the ICC control pro 20.
