The ICC control eco 8 (MPN 0008035300) is the lean package variant for the small IB 8 eco plastic bath of size S. It consists of the ICC control circulator, the bath and the BS.ICC bath bridge, and nothing more is included. The circulator brings a TFT display, program function and a connection for an external PT 100 probe, and the bath limits the temperature to 100 °C when operated with water.
Small bath, clear limits
The opening at the bottom of the bath measures 188 x 105 mm, at the upper bath edge at most 227 x 118 mm. The package measures 320 x 335 x 349 mm, and the immersion depth is 85 to 125 mm. The bath is made of plastic and is intended only for water up to 100 °C. The circulator alone works up to 150 °C.
ICC control circulator
The circulator carries ident number 0004136600 and is available as a standalone unit . The temperature stability according to DIN 12876 is ±0.01 K, the display resolves to 0.01 K, and the set temperature can be set to an accuracy of 0.1 K. A PID controller regulates with a PT 100 as working probe and a PT1000 as safety probe. The circulator has its own connection for an external PT 100 probe, and the display indicates operation with an external probe.
Programs and interfaces
The device can store 10 individual procedures with up to 10 steps each. Via RS 232 and Micro-USB the circulator is controlled and monitored with the IKA labworldsoft software, and the device software can also be updated online. A carrying handle and an integrated stand are part of the housing, and the circulator is attached with a clamp.
Pump in the circulator
The pressure/suction pump is permanently installed in the circulator, and its output is variable. It delivers up to 18 l/min at 0 bar back pressure and builds up a maximum pressure of 0.3 bar, on the suction side 0.2 bar. The PCS.ICC pump connection set is not included with this package.
Safety
The safety circuit is adjustable from 0 to 160 °C. Warnings are visual and audible, including for over-temperature, and low and high level are monitored. The classification is DIN 12876 class III with FL.
Which package in size S
With cover CS.ICC, pump connection set, cooling coil and PT 100.30 probe, the same bath is available in the ICC control eco 8 c. The ICC basic eco 8 combines the bath with the ICC basic circulator. If you want to work above 100 °C in the bath, you will find a stainless steel bath of size S up to 150 °C in the ICC control pro 9.
