RV 8 V Starter Solution
The RV 8 Starter Solution package is the cost-effective, all-in-one solution for your rotary evaporator setup.

In addition to the RV 8 V rotary evaporator, the package includes the HB digital heating bath with a 4-litre capacity and a heating temperature range from room temperature to 180 °C, a highly efficient vertical glass condenser set with 1-litre collection and evaporating flasks, as well as the VACSTAR lite vacuum pump with VC 10 lite vacuum controller and the RC 2 lite recirculating cooler. All components and connections required for operation are therefore included.

The RV 8 rotary evaporator is the basic manual model in the IKA range of rotary evaporators. It is versatile and can be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, in the fields of research and development, production and quality assurance, in laboratories and in plant engineering. Thanks to specially developed glass guides, the vertical cooler utilises the cooling surface area of 1500 cm² extremely efficiently. Digital displays for rotational speed and heating bath temperature allow for optimal control of all distillation processes.

The VACSTAR lite vacuum pump, included in the scope of delivery, is extremely space-saving and achieves a minimum vacuum of 9 mbar. It is controlled via the supplied VC 10 lite vacuum controller. In addition to regulating the recirculating cooler, this also allows for manual setting of the vacuum target value as well as programme-controlled operation.

The compact RC 2 lite recirculating chiller, with a robust 400-watt cooling capacity and a powerful pressure and suction pump (0.35 bar), is designed for simple cooling tasks down to –10 °C. The easily accessible and easy-to-clean stainless steel mesh filter ensures consistently high cooling performance for years to come. Thanks to the natural refrigerant R290, the RC 2 lite is particularly environmentally friendly and well-prepared for the future.

Warranty
: By registering online at www.ika.com/register, you can extend the warranty on your equipment free of charge. For rotary evaporators and heating baths, the standard warranty is two years, plus three additional years following registration (2+3). For peripheral equipment included in the package (vacuum pump and cooler), the additional warranty is one year (2+1).
