Cleaning according to the ‘easy-clean’ principle
The name ‘easy clean’ describes the mechanism: when the clamp is turned and lowered, the shaft and rotor drop until the entire rotor emerges from the stator. The shaft tube can then be completely rinsed from the inside as well.
Ceramic plain bearings instead of ball bearings
A ceramic plain bearing is used. AISI 316L and ceramic come into contact with the medium; the pH range is 2 to 13. The tool is suitable for solvents and abrasive substances; the maximum operating temperature is 180 °C. It can be sterilised using any method.
Particle size specifications
The rotor has a diameter of 18 mm, and the gap to the stator is 0.5 mm. At 25,000 rpm, a circumferential speed of up to 23.6 m/s is achieved. The final particle size is between 5 and 25 µm for suspensions and between 1 and 5 µm for emulsions. The immersion depth is 35 to 150 mm, and the installation length is 191 mm.
