The S 25 EC - T - C - 25 F (0025007199) measures the temperature within the batch itself: the mould contains a sensor for 0 to 125 °C. It has a 25 mm stator and an 18 mm rotor, processes volumes from 0.01 to 2 l and follows the ‘easy-clean’ principle. IKA specifies the T 25 easy clean control as the drive unit.
Sensor and operating hours
Temperature is measured during operation via the integrated sensor. The tool also records operating hours. When maintenance is due, a message appears on the drive’s display. The tool’s maximum operating temperature is 120 °C.

After turning and lowering the clamp, the shaft and rotor fall out. The shaft tube can then be rinsed from the inside. The shaft runs in a ceramic plain bearing; the parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 316L and ceramic.
Geometry and precision
The gap between the rotor and stator is 0.5 mm. A speed of 25,000 rpm is permitted, with speeds of up to 23.6 m/s at the rotor circumference. The immersion depth is 45 to 150 mm, and the installation length is 191 mm. The final fineness is 5 to 25 µm for suspensions and 1 to 5 µm for emulsions. The tool weighs 0.634 kg and is suitable for solvents and abrasive substances. The pH range is from 2 to 13; sterilisation may be carried out using any method except hot air.
Without a sensor or with a different rotor
Without a temperature sensor, the same geometry is available as the S 25 EC - C - 25 F with an operating temperature of up to 180 °C. The S 25 EC - T - C - 25 G operates with a sensor, but features a 17 mm rotor and a speed of 22.2 m/s.
