High-performance dispersion in the millilitre range
The IKA T 10 basic ULTRA-TURRAX is a compact, high-performance disperser designed specifically for processing very small volumes of 0.5 to 100 ml (H₂O). Thanks to its wide speed range of 8,000 to 30,000 rpm, the unit achieves extremely high peripheral speeds even with small rotor diameters. This guarantees excellent dispersion results, rapid homogenisation and efficient disruption of tissue samples in the shortest possible time.
Precision and Handling
Its light weight and ergonomic design make the T 10 basic ideal for manual operation. Alternatively, it can be secured to a stand using the clamp supplied. The quick-release coupling allows the dispersing tools to be changed in a matter of seconds without the need for additional tools. A key advantage for PCR analyses: in addition to the easy-to-clean stainless steel tools, disposable plastic tools in two sizes can also be used to reliably prevent cross-contamination.
Robustness and flexibility
Despite its compact size, the 125-watt drive offers high speed stability even when viscosity changes. The unit is mains-powered (no separate transformer required), which increases freedom of movement in the laboratory. With a maximum viscosity of 5,000 mPas, the T 10 basic handles even more demanding media with ease whilst operating relatively quietly.
