Small, powerful, maintenance-free: the IKA T 18 mini digital ULTRA-TURRAX ®

With the T 18 mini digital (MPN 0025005828), IKA presents a compact, high-performance solution for laboratories that do not wish to compromise on performance but need to minimise their space requirements. This disperser takes up significantly less space than the classic T 18 model, yet covers the same volume-related working range from 1 ml to 1,500 ml (H₂O). It is the perfect tool for homogenising, emulsifying and suspending in confined fume cupboards or at crowded workstations.

Brushless motor for clean operation

At the heart of this ‘mini’ powerhouse is a modern brushless DC motor. Unlike conventional motors with carbon brushes, this design produces no abrasion. For you, this means absolutely clean air in the laboratory (ideal for cleanroom applications) and whisper-quiet operation. Furthermore, the motor is completely maintenance-free, which minimises downtime and service costs.

Smart features: timer and digital display

Despite its compact design, the T 18 mini digital offers full control. The easy-to-read display allows you to keep a constant eye on the speed (continuously adjustable from 3,000 to 25,000 rpm). A particular highlight is the integrated timer function: you can set running times to standardise processes and allow them to run unattended. Operating errors are immediately highlighted by the display of error codes.

Future-proof and compatible

The disperser features a modern USB-C interface. This allows it to be easily connected to a PC to control or document processes via the labworldsoft laboratory software ®. A key advantage for IKA users: the unit is fully compatible with all existing dispersing tools in the S 18 series. Thanks to the quick-release coupling, you can change tools in a matter of seconds without the need for any tools.
