The IN110 offers an internal capacity of 108 litres with a maximum of five shelves, two of which are included as standard. The net weight is around 76 kilograms, and the temperature is controlled via a ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY within the range of +20 to +80 °C.
Positioning and air circulation
Memmert recommends a minimum clearance of 15 centimetres from the wall, a minimum of 20 centimetres from the ceiling and a minimum of 5 centimetres at the sides. The unit is supplied as standard without castors; a castor frame can be ordered as a factory option. An electronically adjustable exhaust air flap introduces preheated fresh air; the exhaust air outlet with a throttle valve can also be controlled electronically. The interior is reinforced with deep-drawn ribbing and features a protected, integrated 4-sided all-round heating system; the housing has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear panel.
Controller and data acquisition
A DIN Class A Pt100 sensor with a 4-wire measurement system supplies the actual temperature to the ControlCOCKPIT; the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C. SetpointWAIT only starts the process time once the setpoint temperature has been reached; three freely selectable temperature values can be calibrated. The programme sequence remains stored in the event of a power failure, and the data logger can be read out via the Ethernet interface.
Temperature limitation and door construction
A mechanical temperature limiter, protection class 1 according to DIN 12880, switches off the heating when the temperature rises to approximately 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature; an adjustable electronic temperature monitoring system complements this safeguard. In front of the inner glass door is a fully insulated stainless steel door with a 2-point locking mechanism and a compression door lock; a self-diagnostic system assists with troubleshooting. The permissible ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +40 °C, with a maximum relative humidity of 80 %.
Guide to choosing the right size
The smaller IN75 has a capacity of 74 litres with a maximum of six shelves, whilst the IN110 offers an internal volume of 108 litres despite having only five shelves. If more than five shelves are required, the table below lists the IN160 with 161 litres and eight shelves.
