Nabertherm Muffle Furnace L 9/11/B510, 9 l, Tmax 1,100 °C, Flap Door, L-095K1AL

Product information "Nabertherm Muffle Furnace L 9/11/B510, 9 l, Tmax 1,100 °C, Flap Door, L-095K1AL"

The Nabertherm L 9/11 offers 9 litres of usable space and is designed for Tmax 1,100 °C. The flap door also serves as a shelf, the connected load is 3.3 kW.

Construction, heating and insulation

The L 9/11 weighs 35 kilograms, the usable space holds 9 litres with internal dimensions of 235 x 240 x 170 mm. Heating is from two sides via ceramic heating plates with integrated heating wire, for the lift door variant LT 9/11, 240 mm are added to the external dimensions when the door is open. Externally, the body measures 415 x 455 x 515 mm, double walled and rear ventilated, clad with textured stainless steel sheet. For insulation, Nabertherm uses exclusively material without CLP classification under Regulation (EG) Nr. 1272/2008, aluminium silicate wool is not used. At 230 V 1/N/PE or 400 V 3/N/PE, the empty, closed furnace heats up to Tmax minus 100 K in around 63 minutes.

Controller B510 and process data

Process control is handled by the B510, a touch controller with room for 5 programs of 4 segments each. NTLog Basic records the process data via a USB stick, solid state relays ensure quiet heating operation. The L 9/11 has a type N thermocouple installed, matching the 1,100 °C temperature class. According to DIN 17052-1, the temperature uniformity above 800 °C working temperature, measured in the empty usable space with the air inlet slide closed, is +/-5 K.

Flap door and safety

During loading, the flap door also serves as a shelf, the air inlet is controlled by an opening directly in the door, exhaust is removed via the rear wall. An adjustable temperature limiter with adjustable cut-off temperature can additionally be ordered against over-temperature.

Selection guide for the right size

For the higher temperature class at the same volume, the L 9/12 (article no. L-095K2AL) is available. If less usable space is needed, the L 5/11 with 5 litres shows a smaller alternative, more volume is offered by the L 15/11 with 15 litres.

Typical applications

The L/LT series is intended for use in laboratory and research. With 9 litres of usable space, the L 9/11 suits larger sample quantities at temperatures up to 1,100 °C than the smaller sizes allow.

  • Laboratory samples with greater space requirements up to 1,100 °C
  • Research setups with medium usable space

Regulatory information

The device is an electrical appliance within the meaning of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). The WEEE registration number of the manufacturer Nabertherm GmbH is DE 31598342. Information on the return of old appliances can be found on our Environment and disposal page.

Individual requirements and procurement service

The L 9/11 can be extended at the factory with an exhaust chimney (fan or catalytic converter), a temperature limiter, a protective gas connection, a gas supply system and a thermocouple feedthrough in the rear wall or door. In addition, there is the VCD software package for documentation and a charging frame, which allows several levels to be loaded up to 800 °C (2 to 3.5 kg per level depending on the model). LT Laborhandel is best placed to discuss directly which of these suits the individual process.
