Colour-coding reduces the risk of cross-contamination, particularly where several people or work areas share the same room. Unigloves Blue Pearl are blue, latex-free, medical-grade nitrile gloves with a micro-textured finish for a secure grip, even during wet or oily tasks. The rolled cuff prevents liquids from running back up to the wrist, whilst the chlorinated surface makes them more comfortable to put on and take off.
Latex-free and chemical-resistant
As fully dipped nitrile gloves, the Blue Pearl are completely latex-free, phthalate-free and powder-free, offering an alternative for anyone who needs to take natural latex allergies into account. They are certified as chemical-resistant in accordance with EN ISO 374-1, and their resistance to 40% caustic soda has been explicitly tested in accordance with EN 374-4. In addition, the gloves provide protection against bacteria, fungi and viruses in accordance with EN ISO 374-5.
Medical-grade quality in accordance with EN 455
Blue Pearl gloves comply with EN 455 (Parts 1–4) for medical single-use gloves and are certified as a Class I medical device under the EU Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745, as well as as PPE under EU Regulation 2016/425 (CE marking, notified body CCQS, #2834). With an AQL of 1.5, they meet a high standard of leak resistance. They are also certified as food-safe and touchscreen-compatible.
Areas of application
Blue Pearl gloves are suitable for use in laboratories, doctors’ surgeries and dental practices, in the catering and food processing sectors (certified as food-safe), in tattoo and piercing studios, and in the beauty industry. The colour blue is part of a wider Unigloves colour range, which allows for targeted colour-coding by work area or shift, for example to prevent accidental mix-ups between different stations or process steps.
