The tank is deeper than that of the Select 80, which at a similar volume is only 110 mm deep. The ultrasonic frequency is 37 kHz, and the heater delivers 400 W.Area and fill levelThe unit is filled to 115 mm, and the distance from the basket floor to the liquid level is 80 mm. The original accessory basket has internal dimensions of 255 x 200 x 70 mm and takes up to 6 kg. Externally the unit measures 380 x 300 x 280 mm with lid and weighs 6.2 kg. The plastic lid is part of the scope of delivery and can be turned upside down and used as a drip tray for the basket. The fill level of 115 mm and the recommended working volume of 6.8 litres match the values of the Select 80, although the tank is shaped differently.Ultrasound and modesThe effective ultrasonic power is 150 W, the peak power 600 W, and the total power consumption 550 W. The unit has five modes. Eco stands for gentler cleaning, Sweep for evenly distributed action, and Pulse for increased peak power against stubborn soiling. Dynamic combines Pulse and Sweep, and Degas degasses the medium before cleaning. Auto-Degas and the temperature-controlled start are also available. Four programs store combinations of mode, duration and temperature.Drain and operationThe medium is drained via a G 3/8 inch drain connection that can be opened and closed with a rotary switch. The DN10 hose nozzle is included. On the display, the duration between 1 minute and 6 hours and the setpoint temperature between 25 and 80 °C are set with plus and minus keys, and the limit temperature can be set to 40 to 60 °C. An acoustic signal confirms inputs. The unit operates at 37 kHz, and the effective ultrasonic power is 200 W.Dimensions and basketInternally the tank measures 300 x 215 x 195 mm, with 10 litres of working volume recommended. From the basket floor to the liquid level it is 130 mm. The original accessory basket has internal dimensions of 250 x 190 x 110 mm and can be loaded with up to 7 kg. Externally the unit measures 380 x 300 x 330 mm with lid and weighs 7.7 kg. Compared with the Select 100, the external height grows from 280 to 330 mm, while width and depth stay the same at 380 x 300 mm. The plastic lid in the scope of delivery, turned upside down, serves as a drip tray for a basket.Power in detailThe ultrasonic peak power is 800 W, the heater delivers 800 W, and the total power consumption is 1,000 W. The Select 100 has 150 W effective ultrasonic power, 600 W peak and 400 W heating power, while here each value is higher. The available operating modes are Eco, Sweep, Pulse, Dynamic and Degas, and four programs store their settings. The temperature-controlled start and Auto-Degas complement the functions. In Dynamic mode, Pulse and Sweep work together.Operation, drain and protectionThe display shows the set values, the membrane keypad works with plus and minus keys, and every input is confirmed acoustically. The duration can be set from 1 minute to 6 hours, the setpoint temperature from 25 to 80 °C, and the limit temperature from 40 to 60 °C. The insert lid 1 (item no. 1111909) holds four cleaning glasses or beakers, and a cooling coil (item no. 1037515) is available as an accessory.Operation without a displayThe rotary knob for the cleaning duration also switches the unit on and off, and ultrasonic cleaning is started and stopped with the start/stop button. The steps are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes, plus ON for continuous operation with a stop after 6 hours at most. A second rotary knob sets the temperature, the mode button switches between Eco and Dynamic, and LEDs show the status. After 8 hours without operation the unit switches off. The Easy series has no programs, nor Sweep, Pulse or Degas.Between 40H and 120HThe Easy 40H holds 3.9 litres and has no drain, whereas the 100H has a drain with hose nozzle. Compared with the Easy 100H, the footprint at 275 x 215 mm has stayed almost the same (100H: 280 x 220 mm), but the tank is 50 mm deeper, and the basket is 135 instead of 90 mm high.200 W ultrasound, 800 W heatingThe ultrasound has 200 W effective power and 800 W peak at 37 kHz, and the heater likewise 800 W. The time knob goes from 1 to 30 minutes in ten steps and has the ON position for continuous operation with a stop after 6 hours at most. In addition there are the mode button for Eco and Dynamic and the start/stop button, with which ultrasonic cleaning is started and ended. The unit switches off after 8 hours without operation. There is no screen or program memory.When the next size up makes senseFor parts with a larger footprint, the Easy 180H with internal tank dimensions of 300 x 270 x 195 mm and 17.8 litres is the next size. Ultrasound (200 W), heating (800 W) and tank height (195 mm) are the same as on the 120H, while tank area, volume and housing get larger.
