PhysioCare Concept ® – Easy on your hand

Anyone who pipettes extensively on a daily basis will appreciate the light weight and extremely low operating forces of the Research ® plus. It has been developed in accordance with the strict criteria of the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept ® to provide maximum relief for the hand and arm and minimise the risk of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). The control knob and ejector are positioned so that they can be reached without exerting any force.

Robustness and flexibility

The spring-loaded tip cone is a key feature of this model: it ensures the pipette tip fits securely with minimal insertion force. Furthermore, the entire pipette is fully autoclavable (at 121 °C) without the need for disassembly – this saves time and minimises the risk of contamination. For specialised liquids (e.g. high-density liquids), the secondary adjustment feature allows for easy fine-tuning.
