ESAB Rogue ET 200iP PRO TIG Inverter with HF Ignition, Manual Metal Arc (MMA) and Pulse Modes, 200 A, 115/230 V, 0700500081

Product information "ESAB Rogue ET 200iP PRO TIG Inverter with HF Ignition, Manual Metal Arc (MMA) and Pulse Modes, 200 A, 115/230 V, 0700500081"

The ESAB Rogue ET 200iP PRO uses HF to strike the arc and allows adjustment of gas pre-flow, start current, up-slope, down-slope, end current and gas post-flow, in either 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode. The PRO version also features a pulse function ranging from 0.2 to 500 Hz. The machine also supports manual metal arc (MMA) welding.

TIG with HF ignition and pulsing

The adjustment range is 10 to 200 A. The scope of delivery includes a 4-metre-long SR-B 26 TIG torch, a set of consumables with a tungsten electrode and a 3-metre-long return lead cable with a clamp. The current control can be expanded in several ways: there are torches with remote control (SR-B 26FX-R) and a foot pedal available as accessories; the part numbers are listed under ‘Optional Accessories’.

Manual arc welding with Hot Start and Arc Force

For welding with stick electrodes, Hot Start and Arc Force can be set; the current is adjustable from 10 to 200 A. The unit may operate continuously at 100 A (24.0 V), at 129 A (25.2 V) with a 60 per cent duty cycle, and at 200 A (28.0 V) with a 25 per cent duty cycle. An electrode holder is not included in the scope of delivery; the Handy 200 A electrode holder (0700006900) is listed as an accessory.

Differences from the Rogue ES 200i PRO

The Rogue ES 200i PRO is an E-Hand machine with Live-TIG mode, weighing 8.4 kg, with a current range in MMA mode of 20 to 200 A. The ET 200iP PRO starts at 10 A, weighs 9.6 kg and comes with HF ignition, a pulse function and the torch included in the scope of delivery. Both machines have the same mains voltage, the same maximum output current and the same duty cycles at 200 A, 129 A and 100 A.

Mains, generator and duty cycle

The unit operates on 115/230 V AC with a tolerance of ±15 per cent at 50 or 60 Hz; the apparent power is 7 kVA. In energy-saving mode, it draws 50 W. The unit is suitable for generator operation (7 kW). The duty cycle applies to both operating modes as follows:

CurrentDuty cycleMMA voltageTIG voltage
200 A25 %28.0 V18.0 V
129 A60 %25.2 V15.2 V
100 A100%24.0 V14.0 V

Housing and dimensions

The housing measures 403 x 153 x 264 mm and weighs 9.6 kg. The scope of delivery includes a shoulder strap. The protection rating is IP23S, and the operating temperature range is between -10 and +40 °C. The mains cable is 3 m long.

Typical applications

  • Food and drink
  • Repair and maintenance
  • Building construction
  • Agricultural machinery
  • General manufacturing

Accessories for the TIG workstation

LT Laborhandel stocks the OK Tigrod 12.64 TIG rod (G4Si1 / ER70S-6, argon shielding gas I1) in diameters of 1.6 mm and 2.0 mm, 1,000 mm in length. The weld metal achieves a notched impact energy of 150 J at -40 °C. For breaks, the TIG torch holder with magnetic base is available. It protects the tungsten tip from short circuits when the torch is set down between two welds.
