Heidolph Incubator 1000 Heating Module, 300 W Heating Power, up to 65 °C, 549-90010-00

A platform shaker from the Heidolph 1000 series can be converted into a temperature-controlled incubation system with the Incubator 1000 heating module. The module delivers 300 watts of heating power for rapid heating times and reaches temperatures of up to 65 degrees Celsius, sufficient for the cultivation of thermophilic organisms.

Performance data and temperature range

Uniform and rapid heat distribution is essential for reproducible results. With 300 watts of heating power, the module ensures short heating times within the incubation system, up to a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius. This also allows the cultivation of microorganisms that require temperatures higher than room temperature.

Integration with the modular incubator system

The heating module is not a stand-alone shaker in its own right, but complements an existing 1000 series platform shaker, together with a suitable incubation hood (flat or high), to form a closed, temperature-controlled system. The shaker provides the agitation, the heating module controls the temperature, and the hood retains the heat inside the chamber.

Compatible host units in this range

From this product range, the heating module can be combined with the reciprocating Promax 1020, the rocking Duomax 1030, the tumbling Polymax 1040 and the circular-vibrating Titramax 1000; all of which share the 1000 series chassis. Customers purchasing the Titramax 1000 and heating module together will find the pre-assembled combination, including a flat incubation hood, available as a separate package under order number 544-12209-00.

Choose between a flat or high incubation hood

To ensure that the heat remains inside the chamber, Heidolph supplements the heating module with two versions of the incubation hood: a flat and a tall variant. Which of the two is suitable depends on the height of the vessels used. Both hoods are separate items in the accessories range and are not part of this heating module.

One heating module for multiple shakers

As the Promax 1020, Duomax 1030, Polymax 1040 and Titramax 1000 share the same chassis and the same accessory interface as the 1000 series, the same heating module can be fitted to different shakers as required. Anyone operating several instruments from this series in the laboratory therefore does not need to keep a separate heating module for each individual model.

Retrofitting instead of buying new

If a 1000 series platform shaker is already in the laboratory, retrofitting it with the heating module saves the need to purchase an additional, standalone incubation cabinet for temperature-controlled runs. The module complements existing equipment rather than introducing a completely new category of equipment into the laboratory, and can easily be taken along if the shaker is moved to another bench.

Warranty and procurement service

Heidolph Scientific Products GmbH, Schwabach, provides a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This excludes glass parts and wear parts, damage caused during transport, and damage resulting from improper use. If the equipment is registered with Heidolph, the warranty begins on the date of purchase; otherwise, it begins on the date of manufacture as indicated by the serial number. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Our procurement service will, if required, put together the appropriate combination of platform shaker, heating module and incubation hood.
