The materials science basis of the magnetic stirrer is the innovative IKA Kera-Disk base with a diameter of 135 mm. The base plate is made of a highly conductive aluminium alloy, which ensures minimal heating times and absolutely homogeneous temperature distribution across the entire base surface. To ensure uncompromising chemical resistance to highly corrosive media, acids and alkalis, the metal surface is sealed with a non-porous, scratch-resistant ceramic coating. Wireless media temperature control for maximum workplace safety
