The IKA S 25 EC - C - 18 G is the 18-millimetre version of the easy-clean range. It operates in volumes ranging from 10 millilitres to 1.5 l and has a stroke of 35 to 150 millimetres; the installation length is 191 millimetres. The rotor has a diameter of 12.7 millimetres, and the gap to the stator is 0.3 millimetres wide.
Cleaning without changing tools
The clamp is rotated and lowered, after which the shaft and rotor can be pulled out of the housing. This allows the shaft tube to be flushed through completely from the inside as well.
Performance data and durability
Speeds of up to 25,000 rpm are permitted, resulting in a rotational speed of 16.6 metres per second at the rotor circumference. IKA specifies a final fineness of 10 to 50 micrometres for suspensions and 1 to 10 micrometres for emulsions. Materials in contact with the product are AISI 316L and ceramic. The tool is suitable for solvents and abrasive substances; the pH range is 2 to 13, and the maximum operating temperature is 180 degrees Celsius. It may be sterilised using any method. It weighs 0.4 kilograms.
