Contamination-free dispersion thanks to a brushless motor

The IKA T 18 brushless digital sets new standards in laboratory dispersion technology for volumes ranging from 1 to 1,500 ml (H₂O). Its unique selling point is the modern, brushless EC motor. As no carbon dust is generated during operation, this unit guarantees an absolutely clean working environment. This makes the T 18 brushless the first choice for use in cleanrooms, the pharmaceutical industry or sensitive medical applications where particle-free air is essential. Furthermore, the motor operates without wear, which minimises maintenance intervals and maximises service life.

Digital process control and connectivity

To ensure reproducible results, the unit is equipped with a digital speed display and a timer function. This enables precise monitoring of parameters and unattended operation. Via the integrated USB interface, the disperser can be connected to a PC and remotely controlled and documented using the labworldsoft laboratory software (®). This is a crucial advantage for quality-critical processes and test series that require comprehensive recording.

Performance and flexibility

Despite its quiet operation, the T 18 brushless offers high power density with a speed range of 3,000 to 25,000 rpm. The electronic control system maintains a constant speed even when the viscosity of the medium changes. Thanks to the quick-release coupling, the dispersing tools of the S 18 series can be changed in a matter of seconds without the need for tools, which significantly speeds up cleaning and switching between different samples.
