The set combines the tried-and-tested T 18 digital drive with the standard S 18 N - 19 G dispersing tool and a sturdy plate stand complete with boss head, all ready for use straight out of the box.

Everything included for an immediate start

Instead of ordering four separate items and checking whether they fit together, the Solution version supplies all components in a single package:

Digital speed control with LED display

The speed range extends from 3,000 to 25,000 revolutions per minute, is infinitely variable and has a deviation of around 1 % according to the data sheet. The LED display shows the set value directly, so that once process parameters have been determined, they can be noted down and repeated for subsequent trials. With an output power of 300 watts, the drive can process samples with a viscosity of up to 5,000 mPas. With a permissible duty cycle of 100 %, the drive can also be operated continuously for longer process stages without the need to schedule a cooling break between batches.

Tool S 18 N - 19 G ready for use

The supplied tool covers a working range of 10 to 1,500 millilitres and, with its coarsely toothed geometry, is suitable for the pre-shredding of solid components as well as for more viscous media. The rotor shaft is mounted in PTFE, which is resistant to most solvents, acids and alkalis. Interchangeable tool for different samples

Even though the set is already equipped with a suitable tool, the drive remains compatible with the entire S-18 tool range. Application, installation and maintenance

The supplied plate stand ensures a secure, low-vibration base even at high speeds and is particularly suitable for longer or unattended process stages. Operation is permitted at an ambient temperature of 5 to 40 °C and a relative humidity of up to 80 % at 31 °C, decreasing linearly to a maximum of 50 % at 40 °C. The PTFE bearing of the supplied tool must not run dry; the medium serves both as lubrication and cooling. After use, the tool can be disconnected from the drive for cleaning or sterilisation, as can the stand, which can be detached again for the next configuration. At the end of its service life, the drive, as an electrical appliance, does not belong in household waste but in the separate collection for waste electrical and electronic equipment.

When the complete set is worthwhile

For laboratories that do not yet own a T-18 drive, the set saves time on ordering and compatibility checks compared to purchasing the drive, tool and stand separately.
