The IN75 has an internal capacity of 74 litres and a cabinet height of 944 millimetres; within the IN series, it sits between the smaller IN55 and the larger IN110. Natural convection distributes the heat throughout the interior without a fan; temperature control is managed via a ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C within the range of +20 to +80 °C.
Design and air flow
An electronically adjustable exhaust air damper mixes in preheated fresh air, whilst the exhaust air outlet with throttle valve can also be controlled electronically. The interior features deep-drawn ribbing and has a protected, integrated 4-sided all-round heating system; the housing has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear panel. Unlike the IF series, which operates with forced air circulation, the IN75 does not require a fan wheel inside the chamber.
Control via the ControlCOCKPIT
The ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY with a TFT colour graphic display controls the unit via a DIN Class A Pt100 sensor in a 4-wire measurement configuration. The SetpointWAIT function only starts the process time once the setpoint temperature has actually been reached; a digital countdown timer covers target times ranging from 1 minute to 99 days. The data logger can be read via the Ethernet interface, whilst a self-diagnostic system assists with troubleshooting.
Safety according to DIN 12880
A mechanical temperature limiter, protection class 1 according to DIN 12880, switches off the heating when the temperature rises to approximately 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature; in addition, an adjustable electronic temperature monitoring system monitors the interior. The door is fully insulated and fitted with a two-point locking mechanism as a compression door lock; behind this is an inner glass door. The permissible ambient temperature is +5 °C to +40 °C with a maximum relative humidity of 80 %, non-condensing.
Selection guide for the right size
With two shelves fitted as standard and space for up to six shelves, the IN75 is suitable for medium-sized sample quantities. For those with limited floor space, the 53-litre IN55 is the smaller alternative available in the shop. If you regularly require more capacity, you’ll find the 108-litre IN110 in the size chart below.
