Memmert Paraffin Oven UN110pa, 108 l, +20 to +80 °C, TwinDISPLAY

The Memmert UN110pa paraffin oven holds 108 litres, and two stainless steel grid shelves are part of the scope of delivery. The nearly gas-tight interior heats paraffin and other embedding media evenly in the range from +20 to +80 °C, controlled via two redundant Pt100 sensors on the TwinDISPLAY. Up to five shelves can be loaded with a maximum total load of 175 kg.

Interior for larger batches

The interior measures 560 x 480 x 400 mm, and the housing measures 745 x 864 x 584 mm externally plus 56 mm for the door handle. Two electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are part of the standard equipment, and up to three more fit in addition. The fully insulated stainless steel door closes via 2-point locking as a compression door seal, and the housing has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear wall.

Two heating groups with HeatBALANCE

The heating power distribution between the upper and lower heating group can be adjusted via HeatBALANCE from -50 to +50 per cent. Display and control are via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two TFT colour graphic displays, and the two DIN class A Pt100 sensors measure in 4-wire technology, monitor each other and automatically take over the function of the other in the event of a fault. The setting accuracy is 0.1 °C, and SetpointWAIT lets the process time begin only once the setpoint temperature has actually been reached.

Safety reserves

A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 switches off the heating at about 20 °C above the maximum oven temperature. An adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can also be selected. AutoSAFETY runs in parallel, follows the setpoint at a freely selectable distance and raises a visual and audible alarm in the event of deviation, and a self-diagnosis system supports fault finding.

Guide to choosing between UN75pa and UN160pa

If 108 litres are no longer enough, the UN160pa with 161 litres has more capacity, see the size table below. If less volume is sufficient, the UN75pa with 74 litres is the more compact alternative with the same control and safety equipment.

Difference from the UN110 universal oven

The universal oven UN110 of the same size also holds 108 litres, but goes up to +300 °C and is controlled via a SingleDISPLAY. The UN110pa stops at a maximum of +80 °C, but with a second Pt100 sensor, TwinDISPLAY, HeatBALANCE and the nearly gas-tight interior for paraffin and other embedding media.
