Product information "Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 510 H Ultrasonic Bath with Heating, 9.7 L, 20 to 80 °C, 3206"
The Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 510 H combines a 9.7-litre tub with a 400-watt heater, which can be set to temperatures between 20 and 80 °C. The inner dimensions of the bath are 300 x 240 x 150 mm; it is operated via buttons, and the display shows the setpoint and actual bath temperature.
Temperature control with protection against boiling dry
The heater includes protection against boiling dry and dry-run protection. The automatic safety shut-off activates twelve hours after the last button press. At 230 V, the heater’s current consumption of 2.5 A is significantly higher than that of the unheated DT 510, which is 0.7 A.
Ultrasonic with four oscillation systems
Four vibration systems deliver a peak power of 640 watts at 35 kHz; the rated power is 160 watts. SweepTec operates fully automatically to counter standing waves in the ultrasonic field; there is also a pulse function and the DEGAS rapid degassing feature, which is activated at the start of the cleaning process. The timer runs in the following increments: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes (± 5 per cent) or in continuous operation.
Tank, drain and weight
The tank (1.0 mm) and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel. Of the 9.7-litre total capacity, 6.6 l are used as working volume; a fill level mark is provided. The G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side is used for draining; a hose nozzle and hose for fitting to the drain are included. The unit measures 325 x 265 x 300 mm, weighs 7.4 kg and has side handles.
Larger tank with heating
If you need more capacity and heating up to 80 °C, the DT 514 H is the model for you, with a total capacity of 13.5 l, 600 watts of heating power and 860 watts of peak ultrasonic power. The DT 510 H, with a 9.7-litre capacity, is the smaller of the two baths and has a footprint of 325 x 265 mm.
Accessories
For the DT 510 H, Bandelin supplies the K 10 hanging basket (up to 10 kg), the GH 10 instrument holder, the D 510 lid, the DE 510 perforated lid for four sample beakers, the ED 9 injection nozzle holder, the ZF 10 laboratory flask holder and the KW 10-0 polypropylene hanging bath. 0.6-litre beakers are available in glass, plastic and stainless steel. Clamps EK 10 to EK 250 hold laboratory flasks with diameters up to 85 mm.
Typical applications
- Cleaning of items of various shapes, types and sizes in laboratories, medical practices and workshops at an adjustable bath temperature
- Rapid degassing of liquids
- Homogenisation and emulsification
- Sonochemical applications, such as radical generation or improved mass transfer
- Sample preparation for analysis
- Cleaning of instruments classified as Class I medical devices; the suitability of the instruments is determined in accordance with the instrument manufacturer’s specifications
Frequently asked questions
