The same tank as the RK 510, but with a heater: The Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 510 H also has a capacity of 9.7 litres (6.6 litres working volume) and adds a 400-watt heater to its unheated counterpart for cleaning processes that require a heated medium.400-watt heating element with dry-run protectionThe heating element operates between 30 and 80 °C and switches off automatically via the integrated dry-run protection as soon as there is insufficient liquid in the tank. Cleaning duration and temperature are set using two separate rotary knobs; the timer ranges from 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %) or continuous operation.Same ultrasonic power as the unheated RK 510At an operating frequency of 35 kHz, the RK 510 H, like the RK 510, delivers 640 watts of peak power and 160 watts of rated power via four transducer systems, distributed evenly throughout the tank by the SweepTec function. The tank and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel; the tank is 1.0 mm thick with internal dimensions of 300 x 240 x 150 mm.Slightly heavier due to the heating technologyWith a net weight of 7.5 kg, the RK 510 H is only slightly heavier than the unheated RK 510 (7.2 kg); the external dimensions of 325 x 265 x 300 mm are identical. A G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side allows the tank to be emptied without lifting it. Both variants share the same IP 32 protection rating and are classified as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745.When the heating system is worth itGrease, oil or wax residues dissolve much more quickly in heated cleaning fluid than at room temperature; likewise, many cleaning concentrates only become fully effective above a certain temperature. Anyone who regularly deals with such contaminants will benefit from the RK 510 H. If, on the other hand, you work exclusively with pre-heated or cold cleaning media, the RK 510, which has the same design, saves on the additional heating technology.Product range: SUPER RK, DIGITEC DT and smart STWithin the SUPER RK series, the range of tank capacities extends from 0.9 litres (RK 31) to 58 litres (RK 1050), all featuring rotary knob controls. The DIGITEC DT series is available for digital button operation with an LED display and automatic degassing, whilst the smart ST series offers touchscreen operation with programme memory. We also offer Elma Elmasonic ultrasonic baths as a second brand in our range.Use and maintenanceThe working capacity of 6.6 litres is less than the total capacity of 9.7 litres, ensuring that heated water does not spill over the rim when beakers or instruments are placed inside. A concentrate from Bandelin’s TICKOPUR range is suitable for the cleaning solution; it usually dissolves even more effectively at higher temperatures. Before the first cycle with a freshly prepared solution, a short initial run in continuous operation helps to expel dissolved air. After the last cleaning cycle of the day, the tank, whilst still warm, should be drained via the ball valve and wiped dry.Typical applicationsRemoval of grease and oil residues at elevated bath temperaturesHeat-assisted cleaning of instruments and laboratory glasswareCleaning processes using temperature-activated concentratesCleaning of multiple beakers or small parts in a single batchFrequently asked questionsWhat is the difference between the RK 510 H and the RK 510?Both share the same tank; the RK 510 H also has a 400-watt heater with a temperature range of 30 to 80 °C.What is the usable working capacity?6.6 litres out of a total capacity of 9.7 litres.Where is the drain? On the left, as a ball valve with a G 1/2 connection. Is a basket included in the scope of delivery? No, the K 10 insert basket and the D 510 lid are available separately.Technical detailsTotal capacity / Working capacity9.7 l / 6.6 lInternal dimensions of the tank (L x W x D)300 x 240 x 150 mmExternal dimensions (L x W x H)325 x 265 x 300 mmWeight (net)7.5 kgUltrasonic frequency35 kHzUltrasonic powerPeak power 640 W, rated power 160 W, 4 vibration systemsHeating power400 W, temperature range 30 to 80 °C, dry-run protectionTimer1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %) or continuous operationOperationRotary knobFunctionsSweepTec, pulse functionTank materialStainless steel 1.4301, thickness 1.0 mmHousing materialStainless steel 1.4301DrainBall valve G 1/2, left-hand sideMains connection230 V~ (± 10 %), 50/60 Hz, optionally 115 V~, 2 m fixed mains lead, protection class ICurrent consumption230 V 2.5 A / 115 V 4.9 AProtection ratingIP 32Medical device classClass I (Regulation (EU) 2017/745)ConformityLow Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EUPackaging dimensions450 x 390 x 375 mmScope of delivery1x Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 510 H ultrasonic bath with heaterFixed mains lead (2 m)Instructions for useThe insert basket and lid are not included in the scope of delivery and are available separately.Individual requirements and procurement serviceThe K 10 insert basket, the D 510 lid or the unheated RK 510 version are available on request. Ultrasonic baths with a simple rotary knob reach their limits as soon as several batches are to be run in succession at exactly the same temperature. The Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 512 H solves this problem with push-button controls and an LED display that shows the remaining time as well as the setpoint and actual bath temperature. With a total volume of 13.0 l and a working capacity of 8.7 l, this ultrasonic bath is suitable for medium-sized batches from laboratories, workshops or medical practices, such as laboratory glassware, tools or small parts from manufacturing.Digital control with LED displayThe buttons replace the rotary knob found on the SUPER-RK series, whilst an LED display simultaneously shows the remaining cleaning time as well as the setpoint and actual temperature values. The time can be set in fixed increments of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes; alternatively, continuous operation is available, in each case with a tolerance of ±5 %. If the appliance remains unused for 12 hours without any buttons being pressed, the automatic safety shut-off switches it off.SweepTec, DEGAS and heating up to 80 °CThe fully automatic SweepTec function distributes the ultrasound evenly throughout the tank and prevents standing waves, which would otherwise lead to uneven cleaning. DEGAS rapidly degasses freshly prepared cleaning fluid, reducing the waiting time until the ultrasound takes full effect. The heating system covers a range of 20 to 80 °C and features built-in protection against delayed boiling and dry-run protection. With a nominal power of 215 watts and a peak power of 860 watts, distributed across four vibration systems, the bath generates cavitation.Which DIGITEC model is suitable: DT 100 H or DT 512 HWithin the DIGITEC range, the models differ primarily in terms of volume. The DT 100 H has a capacity of 3.0 l and is suitable for small quantities, such as individual tools, spectacles or small laboratory parts. The DT 512 H, with a total volume of 13.0 l and a working capacity of 8.7 l, is designed for medium-sized batches, such as several laboratory bottles at once or larger series of workpieces. Anyone who regularly cleans larger quantities or bulkier parts will find that the DT 512 H eliminates the need for multiple cycles.Differences from the SUPER RK and smart STThe SUPER RK series is operated via a traditional rotary knob, without a digital display or DEGAS function. The smart ST series goes one step further than DIGITEC, featuring a touchscreen, finely adjustable power settings from 10 to 100 % in 1 % increments, and a system bus interface for a docking station. The DIGITEC DT 512 H falls technically between the two, featuring a digital time and temperature display, but without a touchscreen or the additional programme memory of the smart ST range. The difference to the rotary-knob series is also evident in the protection rating: IP 33 instead of IP 32 for the SUPER RK.Day-to-day use and maintenanceThe drain is controlled via a G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side, which makes it easier to change the cleaning medium between batches. The basket and lid are not included in the scope of delivery; the K 10 B insert basket and the D 510 lid are suitable for the DT 512 H. The power cable, 2 metres long, is permanently attached to the unit; operation is possible at either 230 V or 115 V at 50/60 Hz. Protection class I and the heater’s dry-run protection are designed for daily laboratory use.Typical applicationsCleaning of laboratory glassware and pipettes in medium-sized batchesProcessing of tools and small parts in the workshopPre-cleaning of components prior to further processingCleaning tasks in medical practices and laboratories with varying temperature requirementsFrequently asked questionsIs the SONOREX DIGITEC DT 512 H a medical device?Yes, it is classified as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745; it is also subject to the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS Directives. Are the basket and lid included in the scope of delivery? No. The scope of delivery comprises the ultrasonic bath with a fixed mains cable and operating instructions; the K 10 B basket and D 510 lid are available separately. How does the DT 512 H differ from the smaller DT 100 H?With a total volume of 13.0 l and a nominal power of 215 watts, the DT 512 H has significantly more capacity than the DT 100 H, which has a volume of 3.0 l and a nominal power of 80 watts, making it suitable for larger batches or multiple batches at the same time. How is the cleaning bath changed?Via the G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side of the unit.Does the unit also run on 115 volts?Yes, the mains connection is designed for either 230 V or 115 V at 50/60 Hz.Technical detailsTotal volume13.0 lWorking capacity8.7 lInternal dimensions of the tank (L x W x D)300 x 240 x 200 mmExternal dimensions (L x W x H)325 x 265 x 350 mm (excluding handles/ball valve, including feet)Weightnet 8.2 kg / gross 10.2 kgTank materialStainless steel 1.4301, 1.0 mmUltrasonic frequency35 kHzUltrasonic power215 W nominal power, 860 W peak power, 4 vibration systemsHeating power400 WTemperature range20 to 80 °CTimer1/2/3/4/5/10/15/30 minutes (±5 %) or continuous operation, automatic safety shut-off after 12 hoursOperationButtons, LED display showing remaining time and setpoint/actual bath temperatureFunctionsSweepTec, DEGAS rapid degassing, pulse function, protection against delayed boiling, dry-run protection heaterDrainBall valve G 1/2, left-hand sideMains connection230 V~ (±10 %), 50/60 Hz, optionally 115 V~, 2 m fixed mains lead, protection class ICurrent consumption230 V 2.7 A / 115 V 5.4 AProtection ratingIP 33ClassificationClass I medical device (EU 2017/745)Scope of delivery1x Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 512 H ultrasonic bathFixed mains lead (2 m)Instructions for useThe K 10 B insert basket and D 510 lid are not included in the scope of delivery and are available separately.Individual requirements and procurement serviceFor suitable baskets, lids or cleaning concentrates for the DIGITEC range, please contact our procurement service.

Not every cleaning task requires heat. If you are already working with a medium at a specific temperature or at room temperature, an additional heating element is simply unnecessary technology in the unit. The Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 510 has a total capacity of 9.7 litres and a working capacity of 6.6 litres, providing ample space for laboratory glassware and larger small parts; it is deliberately designed without a heating function.Powerful cleaning even without heatAt an operating frequency of 35 kHz, the RK 510 delivers 640 watts of peak power and 160 watts of rated power via four vibration systems. The SweepTec function continuously modulates the ultrasonic field to prevent standing waves from forming and ensure that cavitation acts evenly throughout the tank, even without auxiliary heating.Robust tank for daily useThe tank and housing are made of 1.4301 stainless steel; the tank is 1.0 mm thick with internal dimensions of 300 x 240 x 150 mm. Operation is via a rotary knob; the timer covers 1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %), and continuous operation is also available. With a net weight of 7.2 kg and external dimensions of 325 x 265 x 300 mm, the unit can be moved around the laboratory with minimal effort.Ball valve drain for easy medium changeA G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side allows the tank to be emptied without lifting or tilting it, which is practical when the cleaning medium needs to be changed frequently. IP 32 protection rating and CE conformity according to the Medical Devices Regulation, the Low Voltage Directive, the EMC Directive and the RoHS Directive allow it to be used in laboratories, medical practices and workshops alike.Selection guide: unheated or with heatingThe RK 510 shares the same tank size as the heated RK 510 H; both have a capacity of 9.7 litres, with a working volume of 6.6 litres. Those working exclusively with cold or pre-tempered media can save on the additional heating technology with the RK 510. As soon as grease or oil residues require a higher bath temperature, the RK 510 H is the more suitable choice, given the identical tank size.Product range breakdown: SUPER RK, DIGITEC DT and smart STWithin the SUPER RK series, the range extends from 0.9 litres (RK 31) to 58 litres (RK 1050), with operation consistently via rotary knobs. Those looking instead for a digital display with DEGAS degassing will find this in the DIGITEC DT series, whilst the smart ST series features touchscreen operation with programme memory. In addition to Bandelin SONOREX, we also offer Elma Elmasonic ultrasonic baths in our range.Use and maintenanceThe working capacity of 6.6 litres is deliberately set below the total capacity of 9.7 litres to prevent water from spilling over the rim when beakers or laboratory glassware are placed inside. A concentrate from Bandelin’s TICKOPUR range is suitable for use as the cleaning fluid. A short pre-run in continuous operation before the first cleaning cycle removes dissolved air from freshly prepared medium. After the last use of the day, the tank can be drained via the ball valve and then wiped dry to prevent limescale or cleaning agent residues.Typical applicationsCleaning of beakers and laboratory glassware without the need for heatDegassing of aqueous solutions prior to analytical proceduresCleaning of tools and small parts in the workshopPre-cleaning of larger batches of instruments prior to further processingFrequently asked questionsCan the RK 510 be heated? No, the RK 510 is the unheated version; the heated version with the same tank size is the RK 510 H.Where is the drain? On the left, as a ball valve with a G 1/2 connection. How much volume is actually available for cleaning?6.6 litres working capacity with a total capacity of 9.7 litres. Is the device a medical device?Yes, Class I according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745.Technical detailsTotal capacity / Working capacity9.7 l / 6.6 lInternal dimensions of the tank (L x W x D)300 x 240 x 150 mmExternal dimensions (L x W x H)325 x 265 x 300 mmWeight (net)7.2 kgUltrasonic frequency35 kHzUltrasonic powerPeak power 640 W, rated power 160 W, 4 vibration systemsTimer1 to 15 minutes (± 5 %) or continuous operationOperationRotary knobFunctionsSweepTec, pulse functionTank materialStainless steel 1.4301, thickness 1.0 mmHousing materialStainless steel 1.4301DrainBall valve G 1/2, left-hand sideMains connection230 V~ (± 10 %), 50/60 Hz, optionally 115 V~, 2 m fixed mains lead, protection class ICurrent consumption230 V 0.7 A / 115 V 1.4 ADegree of protectionIP 32Medical device classClass I (Regulation (EU) 2017/745)ConformityLow Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, RoHS Directive 2011/65/EUPackaging dimensions450 x 390 x 375 mmScope of delivery1x Bandelin SONOREX SUPER RK 510 ultrasonic bathFixed mains lead (2 m)Instructions for useThe insert basket and lid are not included in the scope of delivery and are available separately.Individual requirements and procurement serviceFor the K 10 insert basket, the D 510 lid or the heated version RK 510 H, individual procurement requirements apply. SONOREX SUPER RK 512 H ultrasonic bath with heating for everyday laboratory use The SONOREX SUPER RK 512 H is an ultrasonic bath with heating designed for cleaning tasks in everyday laboratory and practice work. With a total volume of 13 litres and a usable working capacity of 8.7 litres, the stainless steel tank offers sufficient space for laboratory glassware, small parts and instruments. The ultrasonic cleaning operates at a frequency of 35 kHz with a peak power of 860 W and an effective nominal power of 215 W, reliably and gently removing adhering dirt, residues and deposits. Thanks to its compact external dimensions of 325 x 265 x 350 mm, the ultrasonic bath can be flexibly positioned on laboratory benches, workbenches or in smaller cleaning stations without taking up much space. Thanks to the combination of powerful ultrasonic cleaning and adjustable heating, the SONOREX SUPER RK 512 H is suitable both for occasional use at a single workstation and for regular use in laboratories with a higher throughput of small parts and glassware requiring cleaning. Laboratory applications Typical applications for this ultrasonic bath include the cleaning of laboratory glassware and small parts, the pre-cleaning and preparation of instruments, and the degassing of solvents prior to analytical applications. Thanks to its comparatively large working capacity of 8.7 litres, the unit is also suitable for the routine cleaning of pipettes, sample vessels and other small parts used in everyday laboratory work. The integrated heater allows temperature control from 30 to 80 °C, which further enhances the cleaning effect on more stubborn residues and enables a process temperature tailored to the specific application and cleaning agent. The cleaning duration and bath temperature can be set directly and easily on the unit using the rotary knob; the timer covers a range of 1 to 15 minutes (±5 %) as well as continuous operation, so that both short cleaning cycles and longer applications can be carried out. A fill-level mark inside the tank facilitates correct and repeatable filling with cleaning fluid. Robust construction for continuous use The tank and housing of the ultrasonic bath are made of 1.4301 stainless steel; the ultrasonic tank itself has a wall thickness of 1.0 mm. A G 1/2 ball valve on the side, with a hose (packed separately, for mounting), allows the cleaning fluid to be drained easily and cleanly without having to lift or tilt the tank. Handles on the sides make it easy to move the unit, whilst the fixed, 2-metre-long mains cable ensures straightforward connection to a 230 V power supply. With an IP 32 protection rating, the housing is protected against foreign bodies larger than 2.5 mm and dripping water falling at an angle. The unit is CE-marked as a Class I medical device in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/745 and also complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.
