Anyone using the Core+ magnetic stirrer in continuous operation needs more than just the probe; a secure cable holder and protection for the work surface are essential for everyday laboratory use. The Sensor Advanced Package Core+ provides exactly that in a single package: the digital Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Core+ with a 145-millimetre footprint, the external Pt1000 temperature probe, a Pt1000 holder with cable management and a silicone cover.

Mount and cover for everyday use

The Pt1000 holder with cable management system (order number 509-63100-00) holds the temperature probe and its cable in place whilst stirring and heating, ensuring that the probe does not slip and the cable does not get caught up in the stirring motion. The Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat silicone cover (order number 23-07-06-05-76) protects the patented Kera-Disk heating plate, made of anodised aluminium, from splashes and contamination between uses.

Digital display, two heating modes

The LCD display on the Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Core+ shows the speed and temperature, whilst the control dials respond dynamically to the speed of the hand movement. The operator can choose between the FAST and PRECISE heating modes depending on the task: FAST for reaching the target temperature quickly, and PRECISE for control without overshoot. With its Pt1000 sensor, the device covers a display and measurement range from 15 to 325 °C, with a measurement accuracy of ±0.2 Kelvin plus the sensor tolerance. A lock function protects the set values from accidental adjustment, and the generous safety clearance between the heating plate and the control panel, together with a visual residual heat warning from 50 °C, protects against burns.

Those who only require the probe without a mount or cover will find the leaner option in the Sensor Basic Package Core+. For set-ups with a reflux condenser, the Reflux Core+ and Reflux Core+ Mini packages are available, both of which are also based on the Core+ magnetic stirrer. The analogue Sensor Advanced Package Core is suitable for simpler rotary-knob operation without an LCD display. The base unit itself can also be used on its own as the Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Core+.

Heidolph Scientific Products GmbH, Schwabach, provides a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This excludes glass and wear parts, damage caused during transport and damage resulting from improper use. If the appliance is registered with Heidolph, the warranty begins on the date of purchase; otherwise, it begins on the date of manufacture as indicated by the serial number. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Heidolph offers a 10-year warranty on the Hei-PLATE series magnetic stirrer included in the package, provided the instrument is registered with Heidolph within the first year of purchase. This extended warranty does not apply to temperature sensors, the mounting bracket or the silicone cover, which are sold as accessories.
