Narrow gap, large capacity: The S 50 N - G 45 M (0008003300) operates with a gap of 0.25 mm between the rotor and stator and processes volumes of 0.5 to 15 l. The stator measures 45 mm, the rotor 40.5 mm. It is driven by the T 50 digital.
Bearings and materials
The shaft is mounted in a PTFE split-ring bearing. Only PTFE and AISI 316L come into contact with the product. The unit is suitable for solvents and abrasive substances, with a pH range of 2 to 13. The short-term operating temperature is up to 180 °C, and it may be sterilised using any method.
Speed, fineness and dimensions
A speed of 10,000 rpm is permitted, resulting in speeds of up to 21.2 m/s at the rotor. The final fineness ranges from 25 to 50 µm for suspensions and 5 to 20 µm for emulsions. The immersion depth ranges from 70 to 250 mm, the installation length is 298 mm, and the tool weighs 0.95 kg.

Same geometry with different bearing arrangement
The S 50 KD - G45M has the same geometry (45 mm stator, 40.5 mm rotor, 0.25 mm gap). It runs on a ball bearing with a PTFE seal, is rated up to 150 °C and may operate under vacuum down to 100 mbar. The S 50 N - G 45 F is made of the same materials, but has a 40 mm rotor, a 0.5 mm gap and 10 to 30 µm for suspensions. For those wishing to operate under vacuum down to 1 mbar, the S 50 KG - HH - G 45 M with a mechanical seal offers the same stator and rotor dimensions, also for 0.5 to 15 l.

Fits
If a process in a beaker reaches its limits because 2 litres suddenly need to become 20, a drive with more power and a longer arm is required – but without having to switch to a completely different system. The T 50 digital ULTRA-TURRAX covers precisely this transition, from 0.25 to 30 litres (H₂O), with a speed range of 600 to 10,000 revolutions per minute. As with the smaller model, this is a drive unit only, without a dispersing tool.Constant speed even with varying viscosityThe electronic speed control maintains the set value even if the viscosity changes during the batch, with a maximum permissible viscosity of 5,000 mPas. A soft start reduces the start-up load, whilst electronic overload protection and an error code display ensure reliable operation. Without an attachment fitted, the noise level is 72 dB(A); the speed itself is displayed via an LED and can be adjusted continuously.Powerful drive for larger volumesWith a power input of 1,100 watts and an output of 700 watts, the T 50 digital significantly outperforms the smaller T 25 digital; the extension arm measures 16 millimetres in diameter and 220 millimetres in length. Measuring 115 x 355 x 139 millimetres and weighing 5.85 kilograms, the machine can still be guided by hand. It operates on 220 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz; a voltage variant of 100 to 120 volts is also available. It has an IP 20 protection rating in accordance with DIN EN 60529, and is suitable for ambient temperatures of 5 to 40 degrees Celsius with up to 80 per cent relative humidity.Tool change using the supplied wrenchesA socket wrench for changing the shaft and another for changing the dispersing tool are supplied with the drive unit; the dispersing tool itself is not included and must be selected to suit the application.
