Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP750eco, 749 l, 0 to +70 °C, SingleDISPLAY

With 749 litres, the Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP750eco offers almost twice the interior volume of the IPP410eco (384 litres) and, like all models in the IPP-eco series, uses the SingleDISPLAY control. Heating and cooling in the setting temperature range of 0 to +70 °C is provided by a Peltier element integrated in the rear wall, entirely without a compressor and without refrigerant. It is connected to 230 V or 115 V, 50/60 Hz, with a power consumption of approx. 1,300 W, and the ControlCOCKPIT shows all values on a TFT colour graphic display.

Door, interior and load

Behind the fully insulated stainless steel doors with 2-point locking (compression door lock) are inner glass doors. Two electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are fitted as standard, and a maximum of 14 shelves is possible. The interior carries a total of 200 kilograms, and 30 kilograms per shelf, which is more than in the smaller IPP410eco. Option K1 with reinforced shelves is available for heavier individual loads. The net weight is 208 kilograms, and the unit can be moved on castors and locked in place.

SingleDISPLAY, sensors and data logger

The PID microprocessor controller in the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY measures via a Pt100 sensor of DIN class A in 4-wire technology, and the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C. SetpointWAIT lets the process time begin only after the set temperature has been reached, and the countdown timer covers 1 minute to 99 days. An electronic temperature monitor and the mechanical temperature limiter TB provide additional protection, and a self-diagnosis system helps with fault finding. The data logger records even in the event of a power failure and is read out via Ethernet. In addition to the CE marking, the unit also carries the EAC marking.

When the IPP750eco is the right size

If 384 litres in the IPP410eco are no longer sufficient or more than 20 kilograms are to be placed on one shelf, the IPP750eco with 30 kilograms per shelf is the next step in the series. Those who need more volume will find 1,060 litres in the IPP1060eco at the same width and height, although the housing is 250 mm deeper and carries 20 instead of 30 kilograms per shelf. Typical applications

With 749 litres, the IPP750eco is suitable for the same core applications of the series, now with considerably more capacity for parallel batches:

• Microbiological examinations and germ count determination in larger numbers
• Cultivation of samples above and below room temperature
• Forced ageing tests for beer stability
• Shelf-life tests of dairy products
