Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP410eco, 384 l, 0 to +70 °C, SingleDISPLAY

With 384 litres of interior volume, the Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP410eco is the third of seven models in the IPP-eco series, with external dimensions of 824 × 1,720 × 655 mm (W×H×D). It cools and heats in the setting temperature range of 0 to +70 °C, without a compressor and without refrigerant, via a Peltier element integrated in the rear wall. It is operated via the SingleDISPLAY of the ControlCOCKPIT, a digital PID microprocessor controller with TFT colour graphic display.

Compact Peltier system without compressor

The fully insulated stainless steel door with 2-point locking (compression door lock) also has an inner glass door. Two electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are fitted as standard, and a maximum of 14 shelves is possible. The interior carries a total of 200 kilograms and a maximum of 20 kilograms per shelf. The unit weighs 139 kilograms net, stands on castors that can be moved and locked in place, and has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear wall. It is transported standing upright only.

Control and safety

One Pt100 temperature sensor of DIN class A measures in 4-wire technology, and the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C. The SetpointWAIT function starts the process time only when the set temperature has actually been reached, and a digital countdown timer runs from 1 minute to 99 days. An adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a mechanical temperature limiter TB provide additional protection against over-temperature, and a self-diagnosis system helps with troubleshooting. The data logger saves the program sequence even in the event of a power failure and can be read out via Ethernet, and the user interface is available in nine languages.

Which laboratory size suits the IPP410eco

If you only cool smaller sample quantities, the IPP260eco (256 litres) is often sufficient. The IPP410eco holds up to 14 shelves of 20 kilograms each. If the volume becomes tight or heavier loads are to stand on one shelf, the IPP750eco with 749 litres and 30 kilograms per shelf is the next step in the same series.
