Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 514 Ultrasonic Bath, 13.5 L, 35 kHz, 3250

The basin of the Bandelin SONOREX DIGITEC DT 514 is almost square, with a base measuring 325 x 300 mm, and has a capacity of 13.5 l at a depth of 150 mm. The bath has four agitation systems, push-button controls and a ball valve drain. This model does not feature a built-in heater.

Larger surface area compared to the DT 510

The DT 510 has a significantly smaller base area of 300 x 240 mm, whilst the depth of 150 mm is identical. The DT 514 has a working capacity of 9.0 l; the fill-level marker helps with filling. The unit measures 355 x 325 x 305 mm externally and weighs 8.7 kg; side handles make it easier to carry.

860 watts peak power

Four oscillation systems achieve a peak power of 860 watts at 35 kHz; the rated power is 215 watts. The SweepTec function automatically prevents standing waves in the ultrasonic field; a pulse function and DEGAS degassing are also included. DEGAS is activated at the start of the cleaning process.

Timer, shut-off and drain

The cleaning duration can be set using the buttons to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes (± 5 per cent); alternatively, the bath runs in continuous operation. The display shows the remaining time; the unit switches off automatically twelve hours after the last button press. The G 1/2 ball valve on the left-hand side drains the tank; a hose nozzle and hose are included.

With or without heating

The DT 514 H features the same tank and additionally offers 600 watts of heating power for temperatures ranging from 20 to 80 °C. If you need even more depth, you can opt for the DT 514 BH with a tub depth of 200 mm and a capacity of 18.7 l, which is also heated. The DT 514 is suitable if the bath liquid does not need to be heated.

Accessories for the large bath

Bandelin supplies the following accessories for the DT 514: the K 14 hanging basket (275 x 245 x 50 mm, up to 10 kg), the GH 14 equipment holder, the D 514 lid and the DE 514 perforated lid for four insert cups. The KAH 14.3 cassette holder (305 x 205 x 135 mm) holds three 1/1 DIN cassettes, six 1/2 DIN cassettes or twelve 1/4 DIN cassettes and can carry up to 5 kg. The SM 14 silicone studded mat and the KW 14 polypropylene hanging tray with PVC lid (280 x 215 x 145 mm) complete the range.
