At 0.16 ± 0.03 mm, the palm is noticeably thicker than on the standard Select Black version (0.11 mm), which provides additional durability during prolonged contact with water or cleaning agents; the same applies to the fingertips, which measure 0.16 ± 0.03 mm. The cuff itself is also documented as being 0.11 ± 0.02 mm thick, a measurement for which no value is given in the data sheet for the shorter Select Black version. Certified to EN 455 and PPE Category III The glove complies with EN 455 (Parts 1 to 4) for single-use medical gloves and is manufactured under a quality management system certified to DIN EN ISO 13485:2021. The type examination was carried out in accordance with Module B and Module C2 of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 by the notified body CCQS (No. 2834); this combination of modules is intended exclusively for the highest PPE Category III. In the 1,000 ml water-tightness test, the glove achieves a high level of impermeability with an AQL value of 1.5; it is also food-safe. Anyone who works in a workplace where several Pearl colours are used will be familiar with the problem: at first glance, every colour looks similar, but not every data sheet is equally comprehensive. With Unigloves Green Pearl nitrile gloves, you can check this straight away, as green is one of the few colours in the Pearl range for which the manufacturer specifies all three material thickness measurement points, the palm, fingertips and cuff, individually, rather than just one. These low-powder, latex-free gloves, made from fully dipped nitrile, feature textured fingertips for a secure grip and a rolled cuff that makes them easier to put on. They are sold in a box of 1,000, divided into 10 boxes of 100 each, in five sizes from XS to XL. Low-powder rather than powder-free: a departure from the other Pearl colours Unlike most colours in the Pearl range, which are marketed as powder-free, the Green Pearl data sheet states a powder residue of less than 2 mg per glove and describes the product as ‘low-powder’, not powder-free. Unigloves Crossguard Nitrile antimicrobial nitrile glove, GM0104 – L
The Unigloves Crossguard Nitrile antimicrobial nitrile glove adds an additional surface technology to the Unigloves range: KluraLabs. Unlike the dyed gloves in the Pearl range, Crossguard is blue in colour and powder-free, fully nitrile-dipped, with textured fingertips and a rolled cuff. The Crossguard Nitrile glove is available in five sizes, from XS to XL. KluraLabs Antimicrobial Surface Technology The Crossguard is fitted with the manufacturer’s KluraLabs antimicrobial surface technology. Its barrier performance against microorganisms has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 374-5, and its chemical protection in accordance with EN ISO 374, Category III, Type C.
