The Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP410ecoplus holds 384 litres and already stands on castors that can be moved and locked in place. The internal dimensions are 640 × 1,200 × 500 mm, and 32 mm of the depth is taken up by the Peltier fan. As with the entire ecoplus series, the setting temperature range extends from 0 to plus 70 degrees Celsius, with TwinDISPLAY and dual Pt100 sensors for redundant monitoring.
Mobility and capacity
With 14 possible shelves and a total load of 200 kilograms, the IPP410ecoplus has considerably more shelf area than the IPP260ecoplus, with an almost identical footprint and additional overall height. The unit can be moved to its place of installation and locked in position on the lockable castors. 2 electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are fitted as standard, with up to 20 kilograms per shelf.
Control and safety
The two Pt100 sensors take over each other's function should one fail, and AutoSAFETY automatically protects against over-temperature and under-temperature. HeatBALANCE distributes the heating power between the upper and lower heating group in a range from minus 50 to plus 50 per cent. A temperature monitor TWW 3.3 or a temperature limiter TWB 2 can also be activated on the display.
Choosing the right size
If 256 litres are sufficient, the IPP260ecoplus with an external height of 1,183 mm and the same footprint is the lower alternative. If the requirement exceeds 384 litres, the way leads to the IPP750ecoplus with 749 litres, which works with an adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a mechanical temperature limiter TB.
Typical applications
The IPP410ecoplus is designed for cultivation below room temperature, and its setting range of 0 to +70 °C also extends well above room temperature:
- Cultivation of samples and cultures down to at least 20 °C below room temperature
- Incubation on up to 14 shelves across the entire setting range of 0 to +70 °C
- Experiments with lighting via the optional LED light modules, then in the working temperature range of +10 to +40 °C
- Program sequences via AtmoCONTROL, transferred by Ethernet or USB
