The completely redesigned RV 10 auto is the flagship model in IKA’s rotary evaporator product range. Its key features include innovative operation via a brilliant TFT colour graphic display, an integrated vacuum controller, cooling water monitoring and sophisticated safety standards. The RV 10 auto offers all the features required for efficient, safe and economical operation. These include automatic control of the vacuum and the cooling water flow rate. The intuitive operation quickly guides the user to the desired result. Thanks to specially developed glass guides, the cooler utilises its 1600 cm² cooling surface extremely efficiently. The RV 10 auto allows the user to carry out customised procedures via advanced ramp programming. Further innovative features such as soft start, alternating clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation in interval mode, and the timer function for controlling time sequences make day-to-day laboratory work easier. Safety is ensured by the motor-driven lift with a ‘safety-stop’ function. In the event of a power cut, it automatically lifts the evaporating flask out of the heating bath. In addition, individually adjustable safety temperature circuits, dry-run protection, adjustable end-position detection to protect against glass breakage, and a lock function ensure user safety. Furthermore, the receiving flasks and the cooler are also available in a coated version. The USB or RS-232 interface allows remote control via the IKA ‘labworldsoft’ software and enables updates via the firmware update tool. The scope of delivery includes vacuum hoses and water hose connections for your in-house cooling water supply. The new IKA Vacstar digital, included in the scope of delivery, is controlled directly by the RV 10 auto drive unit via the supplied data cable.

By registering online at www.ika.com/register, you can extend the warranty on your equipment free of charge. For rotary evaporators and heating baths, the standard warranty is two years, plus three additional years following registration (2+3). For peripheral equipment included in the package (vacuum pump and cooler), the additional warranty is one year (2+1).
