The pump operates oil-free, is chemical-resistant and extremely quiet, making it the ideal partner for use in a laboratory fume cupboard.

Maximum safety for users and samples

Safety is paramount in distillation processes. The RV 10 auto features a comprehensive safety package:

• Motorised lift with safety stop: In the event of a power cut, the evaporator piston automatically retracts from the hot heating bath to prevent the sample from overheating or decomposing.
• Temperature management: The heating bath has an individual safety temperature setting and dry-run protection.
• Ergonomics: The 4-litre heating bath is fitted with ergonomic carrying handles, making filling and emptying safe and convenient. It heats up extremely quickly (up to 180 °C) and is suitable for water and oil.

Intuitive operation and connectivity

Control is via a brilliant TFT graphic display with intuitive menu navigation. Here, you can keep an eye on all parameters – from the bath temperature and speed to the current vacuum reading. The integrated vacuum controller eliminates the need for external measuring devices. For the modern, networked laboratory, the RV 10 auto also offers USB and RS-232 interfaces. This allows the system to be integrated into the labworldsoft laboratory software ® to remotely control processes, run pressure-temperature profiles and document them seamlessly.

Efficient cooling

The set includes the vertical glass assembly (V) with a cooling surface area of 1,500 cm². This highly efficient cooler ensures optimum condensation of solvent vapours. Thanks to its compact design, the unit makes optimum use of the available space within the laboratory fume cupboard.
