Memmert IF55 Incubator, 53 L, with forced air circulation, +20 to +80 °C

The Memmert IF55 is a compact, precision incubator with forced air circulation (convection), specially developed for the gentle temperature control of organic samples. With a chamber volume of 53 litres, this model is ideally suited to applications in research, medicine, pharmaceuticals and food analysis where a particularly homogeneous temperature distribution is required.

Intuitive control: ControlCOCKPIT with SingleDISPLAY

Operation is via the ControlCOCKPIT with SingleDISPLAY. The adaptive PID microprocessor controller with a high-resolution TFT colour graphic display allows precise adjustment of temperature, fan speed and air damper position via touch. The digital timer (countdown timer) is adjustable from 1 minute to 99 days.

Perfect temperature distribution through recirculation

Thanks to the adjustable air turbine (convection), the IF55 ensures rapid and uniform heat distribution throughout the entire interior. The fan speed and the fresh air supply via the electronic exhaust air damper can be finely adjusted in 10% increments. The SetpointWAIT function guarantees reliable process operations: the process time only starts once the setpoint temperature has actually been reached.

Hygienic stainless steel design & safety

Both the textured housing and the interior are made of high-quality, rust-free stainless steel (grade 1.4301), which is robust, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. A fully insulated stainless steel door with a 2-point locking mechanism and an internal glass door allow samples to be observed without heat loss. Safety is ensured by dual over-temperature protection (electronic and mechanical, in accordance with DIN 12880).
