Memmert IN30plus Incubator, 32 L, with TwinDISPLAY & Natural Convection

With a capacity of 32 litres, the IN30plus is the smallest model in the IN-plus series and accommodates one, or up to three, stainless steel grids as standard. Two Pt100 sensors monitor each other and take over the function of the other in the event of a fault. Temperature control is provided within the range of +20 to +80 °C with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C via a ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY featuring two TFT colour graphic displays.

Compact housing with TwinDISPLAY

Natural convection mixes in preheated fresh air via an electronically adjustable exhaust air damper; the exhaust air outlet with throttle valve is electronically controllable. The interior features deep-drawn ribbing with 4-sided all-round heating, whilst the housing has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear panel. A model of the same size with recirculation instead of natural convection is available in the IF-plus series.

Two sensors, one controller

Unlike the other models in the IN-plus series, from the IN55plus to the IN750plus, the IN30plus does not have the HeatBALANCE function for distributing heating output. Programmes are programmed, managed and transferred via Ethernet or USB using the AtmoCONTROL software; SetpointWAIT only starts the process time once the setpoint temperature has been reached.

Temperature monitoring and sterilisation programme

A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 in accordance with DIN 12880 forms the first level of protection and cuts off at approximately 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature. Additionally, a temperature selector monitor (Protection Class 3.1) or an adjustable temperature limiter (Protection Class 2) can be selected; AutoSAFETY tracks the setpoint at a freely selectable interval and signals deviations visually and acoustically. A permanently set sterilisation programme lasting 4 hours at 160 °C sterilises the interior, not the contents.

With a capacity of 32 litres and a maximum of three trays, the IN30plus is designed for small sample quantities and a compact footprint. If more volume is required, the table below lists the IN55plus with 53 litres, four trays and the additional HeatBALANCE function.

Individual requirements and procurement service

The following options, amongst others, can be ordered ex-works for the IN30plus at no extra charge: 115 V voltage, interior lighting, an interior socket and a door-open detection sensor. Optional accessories include a USB User ID stick, a wall bracket, a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and AtmoCONTROL software licences. We arrange calibration and IQ/OQ services for qualification and requalification. We are available to assist you personally with bespoke configurations.
