Memmert IN450plus Incubator 449 L TwinDISPLAY & Natural Convection, on castors

The Memmert IN450plus is a mobile, large-capacity incubator with natural convection, specially developed for laboratory applications where air turbulence must be avoided. With an enormous chamber volume of 449 litres and the advanced TwinDISPLAY control system, this model offers maximum process reliability for research, medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. Thanks to the standard lockable castors, this large unit can be positioned flexibly within the laboratory.

High-end control system: ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY

Unlike the standard version, the IN450plus features the adaptive TwinDISPLAY. Two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays (touchscreens) enable intuitive setting and monitoring of all parameters. Make use of exclusive functions such as HeatBALANCE for individual adjustment of the heating power distribution (top/bottom) or the graphical programming of temperature profiles directly on the unit.

Gentle temperature control without forced air circulation

Natural convection ensures purely thermal air circulation without a fan. This effectively prevents samples from drying out and minimises the risk of cross-contamination. The integrated all-round surface heating guarantees homogeneous temperature distribution throughout the entire stainless steel interior.

Maximum safety & sterilisation

The IN450plus offers dual safety through two Pt100 temperature sensors (DIN Class A), which monitor each other and take over operation in the event of a fault (AutoSAFETY). For hygienically critical areas, a permanently installed sterilisation programme is integrated, which reliably sterilises the interior (without samples) at +160 °C for 4 hours.
