The IN450plus has a capacity of 449 litres and is mounted on castors that can be locked in place; it has external dimensions of 1,224 x 1,247 x 784 mm and a net weight of around 161 kilograms. It can accommodate a maximum of eight shelves, one fewer than the smaller IN260plus, which has nine shelves. Temperature control is managed via a ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two Pt100 sensors, operating within a range of +20 to +80 °C.
Mobile housing with HeatBALANCE
An electronically adjustable exhaust air damper mixes in preheated fresh air, whilst the exhaust air outlet with throttle valve is electronically controllable. The interior features deep-drawn ribbing with 4-sided all-round heating, whilst the cabinet has a fully galvanised sheet steel rear panel. Those requiring forced air circulation rather than natural convection will find the same size model in the IF-plus series.
Two displays, two sensors
Two DIN Class A Pt100 sensors in a 4-wire configuration take over each other’s function in the event of a fault and supply data to the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY, which features two TFT colour graphic displays. The HeatBALANCE function distributes the heating power between the upper and lower heating groups within a range of -50 to +50 %. Ethernet and USB connections are available for programming using the AtmoCONTROL software.
Safety levels and sterilisation programme
The permanently installed sterilisation programme sterilises the interior in 4 hours at 160 °C; the load is excluded from this process. In addition to the mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880, which switches off at approximately 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature, an adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can be selected via the display. AutoSAFETY triggers a visual and audible alarm in the event of a deviation from the setpoint; the unit must only be transported in an upright position.
Selection guide for the correct size
If the 256-litre IN260plus proves too small, the mobile IN450plus, with a capacity of 449 litres and castors, offers more volume, with eight shelves instead of nine. For even larger batches, the table below lists the IN750plus, which has a capacity of 749 litres and 14 shelves.
