The Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP1400ecoplus holds 1,360 litres and has two stainless steel doors with glass cut-out, each with its own 2-point locking. Each door has a fully heated inner glass pane, so the interior can be viewed through the glass cut-out without opening the door. The unit stands on castors that can be moved, locked and levelled, and is intended for cultivation below room temperature on a large scale, adjustable between 0 and plus 70 degrees Celsius.
Two doors with heated glass panes
The two stainless steel doors each have a glass cut-out with a fully heated inner glass pane and 2-point locking per door. Optionally, each door can be locked individually or equipped with a process-dependent programmable door lock and its own door-open detection. For alarm notification by SMS, the MobileALERT option can be ordered, which requires the potential-free alarm contact.
Control and capacity
Two Pt100 sensors of DIN class A quality monitor each other, and temperature monitoring is electronic with mechanical limiter TB. Up to 28 shelves are available in the interior, 4 electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are fitted as standard, and the total load is 250 kilograms and 30 kilograms per shelf. The unit stands on castors that can be moved, locked and levelled.
Choosing the right size
If 1,060 litres and 14 shelves are sufficient, the IPP1060ecoplus with approx. 248 kilograms net weight and an external height of 1,720 mm is the lighter and lower alternative. For an even higher space requirement and the wish for a third door, the way leads to the IPP2200ecoplus, which is connected at 230 volts, 50/60 Hz and approx. 1,900 W.
Typical applications
The IPP1400ecoplus is designed for cultivation below room temperature, with a setting range of 0 to +70 °C and a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C:
- Cultivation of samples and cultures down to at least 20 °C below room temperature
- Incubation of large quantities on up to 28 shelves with a load capacity of 30 kg each
- Visual inspection through the glass cut-outs of the two doors without opening the chamber
- Time-controlled temperature programs with SetpointWAIT and timer up to 99 days, programmed via AtmoCONTROL
- Processes with validation requirements, supported by orderable IQ/OQ documents and the AtmoCONTROL FDA licence for 21 CFR Part 11
