Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP2200ecoplus, 2,140 l, 0 to +70 °C, TwinDISPLAY

At 2,140 litres, the Memmert Peltier Cooled Incubator IPP2200ecoplus is the largest model in the ecoplus series and has three independently lockable doors with heated inner glass panes. It is intended for cultivation below room temperature on a large scale, adjustable between 0 and plus 70 degrees Celsius, and has an interior of 1,972 × 1,450 × 750 mm. The IPP2200ecoplus is connected to 230 volts.

Three doors and large capacity

Each of the three stainless steel doors has a glass cut-out with a fully heated inner glass pane and its own 2-point locking. Optionally, each door can be locked individually or equipped with a process-dependent programmable door lock and its own door-open detection. Up to 42 shelves are available in the interior, 6 electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are fitted as standard, and the total load is 330 kilograms and 30 kilograms per shelf.

Control and connection

Two Pt100 sensors of DIN class A quality monitor each other, and protection is provided by an electronic temperature monitor with mechanical limiter TB. The unit stands on castors that can be moved, locked and levelled, which is important for fine adjustment at the installation site given a net weight of around 473 kilograms.

Choosing the right size

If one of the two smaller door configurations is sufficient, or if the unit is also to be operated with a 115-volt mains connection, the IPP1400ecoplus with two doors and 1,360 litres is the alternative. For the largest possible interior in the series and three doors, the IPP2200ecoplus remains the only option.

Typical applications

The IPP2200ecoplus is designed for cultivation below room temperature, with a setting range of 0 to +70 °C and a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C:

• Cultivation of samples and cultures down to at least 20 °C below room temperature
• Incubation of very large quantities on up to 42 shelves with a load capacity of 30 kg each
• Visual inspection through the glass cut-outs of the three doors without opening the chamber
• Time-controlled temperature programs with SetpointWAIT and timer up to 99 days, programmed via AtmoCONTROL
• Processes with validation requirements, supported by orderable IQ/OQ documents and the AtmoCONTROL FDA licence for 21 CFR Part 11

The IPP-ecoplus series covers seven chamber sizes, all with TwinDISPLAY and the same setting temperature range of 0 to +70 °C.

The same chamber size is also available in the SingleDISPLAY line as the IPP2200eco, without TwinDISPLAY redundancy and without the TwinDISPLAY-exclusive options.
