The RV 10 digital pro V-C double Complete is the version with a coated glass set within the double sets: two complete rotary evaporator drive units share one HB digital heating bath, one VACSTAR digital vacuum pump and one RC 2 GREEN basic recirculating cooler. According to the manufacturer, a single vacuum source is sufficient to supply both rotary evaporators. Each drive unit has its own VC 10 pro vacuum controller, so that both evaporators can be controlled independently of one another. Compared with two separate single sets, this eliminates the need to purchase a pump, heating bath and cooler twice.
Two drive units with coated glass
Both drive units feature a motorised lift with a 140-millimetre stroke and a safety-stop function, which automatically raises the evaporator flask out of the heating bath in the event of a power cut. Individually adjustable safety temperature circuits, dry-run protection and adjustable end-of-stroke detection protect both evaporators independently against glass breakage. The coated glass set makes efficient use of the cooling surface via a specially developed glass guide; the speed per drive unit ranges from 5 to 280 revolutions per minute.
RC 2 GREEN basic recirculating chiller
The shared RC 2 GREEN basic recirculating chiller cools down to minus 30 degrees Celsius with a cooling capacity of 800 watts; the compressor operates with demand-based and speed-controlled operation. The natural refrigerant R290 is also used here. The VACSTAR digital vacuum pump achieves a minimum vacuum of 2 millibars and supplies both evaporators via the two separate VC 10 vacuum controllers.

The IKA manufacturer’s warranty applies to both drive units and the heating bath: 2 years, extended to 5 years upon registration at ika.com/register within 90 days of purchase. For the VACSTAR digital vacuum pump, both VC 10 pro vacuum controllers and the RC 2 GREEN basic recirculating cooler, the 2+1 warranty level applies; upon registration, this means 3 years instead of 5.
