Memmert Incubator IN750m, 749 l, +20 to +80 °C, SingleDISPLAY

The Memmert Incubator IN750m is a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 with the intended purpose of heating and keeping warm fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy. With 749 litres of internal volume and internal dimensions of 1,040 x 1,200 x 600 mm, it is the largest model in the IN-m series and holds up to 14 shelves, more than any other model in the series.

Control, display and data logger

The ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY controls the temperature, and its core is an adaptive, multifunctional PID microprocessor controller with a high-resolution TFT colour graphic display. Measurement is made via a Pt100 sensor of DIN class A using 4-wire technology with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. The digital countdown timer can be programmed from 1 minute to 99 days, and SetpointWAIT lets the process time begin only once the set temperature has been reached. After a power failure, the program sequence remains stored, the data logger can be read out via Ethernet using the time-limited trial version of AtmoCONTROL, and a USB stick with the software is available as an accessory.

Safety and air circulation

A mechanical temperature limiter TB of protection class 1 to DIN 12880 switches the heating off at approx. 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature, and an adjustable electronic temperature monitor and a self-diagnosis system for fault finding complete the safety technology. Natural ventilation receives pre-heated fresh air via an electronically adjustable exhaust air flap, and an electronically adjustable throttle valve regulates at the exhaust air port. Three temperature values can be freely calibrated.

Interior, doors and connection

The interior is made of easy-care, deep-drawn, ribbed stainless steel and has a protected, integrated 4-sided all-round heating. Two electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are included as standard, and a maximum of 14 shelves is possible at 30 kg per shelf and 300 kg total load. The fully insulated stainless steel doors have 2-point locking with a compression door seal and inner glass doors. The connection is 230 V with approx. 2,000 W or 115 V with approx. 1,800 W, in each case 50/60 Hz. Externally, the IN750m measures 1,224 x 1,720 x 784 mm plus 56 mm door handle, approx. 217 kg net and approx. 288 kg gross in the carton.

Distinction: laboratory unit IN750 and IN750mplus

Without a medical intended purpose, the same size is available as the Memmert Incubator IN750. The IN750mplus also offers 749 litres, but shows its values via a ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY instead of SingleDISPLAY and has a different intended purpose: tempering of irrigation and infusion solutions and contrast media, not heating of fango, silicate and APS packs.

Selection guide: which size fits

The IN750m is the largest model in the series. The smaller IN450m has 449 litres and, with eight shelves, significantly fewer loading positions, at the same total load of 300 kg and the same load of 30 kg per shelf. With 14 shelves and 1,200 mm internal height, the IN750m offers the most shelf levels in the series.
