With 256 litres of internal volume and up to nine shelves, the Memmert Universal Oven UF260plus offers considerably more space than the small models of the series, with external dimensions of 824 x 1,183 x 684 mm. Two Pt100 sensors monitor each other, and HeatBALANCE can be used to distribute the heating power between the upper and lower heating group.
Interior for larger batches
The interior measures 640 x 800 x 500 mm and holds up to nine shelves, and the housing measures 824 x 1,183 x 684 mm externally. Two electropolished stainless steel grid shelves are part of the standard equipment, and a total load of up to 300 kg at a maximum of 20 kg per shelf is permitted. The air turbine, which can be controlled segment by segment, adjusts the circulation in 10 per cent steps, and an electronically adjustable exhaust air flap admits preheated fresh air.
Heating power distribution with HeatBALANCE
With HeatBALANCE, the heating power distribution between the upper and lower heating group can be adjusted from -50 to +50 per cent. Two Pt100 sensors of DIN class A in 4-wire measurement monitor each other and take over the function of the other in case of failure. Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY with two TFT colour graphic displays. Programs are managed via Ethernet or USB using AtmoCONTROL, and the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C up to a set temperature of 99.9 °C and 0.5 °C from 100 °C.
Safety reserves for larger batches
A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 forms the first level and switches off at about 20 °C above the maximum oven temperature. An adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can also be selected. AutoSAFETY runs in parallel, follows the set point at a freely selectable offset and raises a visual and audible alarm in case of deviation. An ambient temperature of +5 °C to +40 °C at a maximum of 80 % relative humidity is permissible.
Choosing the right size
If batches become larger, the UF450plus with 449 litres offers more internal volume, see the size table below. If floor space is limited, the smaller UF160plus with 161 litres and likewise TwinDISPLAY is the obvious alternative.
