The Memmert Universal oven UN260m offers 256 litres of internal volume and space for up to nine shelves. As a Class I medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, it is used for the heating and keeping warm of fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy, and two stainless steel grid shelves are included as standard.
Control and sensors
Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT SingleDISPLAY with an adaptive PID microprocessor and TFT colour graphic display. A Pt100 sensor of DIN class A measures the temperature using 4-wire technology, and below 100 °C the setting accuracy is 0.1 °C, above that 0.5 °C. The digital countdown timer can be preset for up to 99 days, and thanks to SetpointWAIT the process time only begins once the setpoint temperature has been reached.
Safety and air flow
The mechanical temperature limiter TB of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 switches off the heating around 20 °C above the maximum cabinet temperature. A self-diagnosis system additionally assists with fault finding. The UN260m works with natural convection, and an electronically adjustable exhaust air flap admixes preheated fresh air. The internal dimensions are 640 x 800 x 500 mm and the external dimensions 824 x 1,183 x 684 mm.
Loading and connection
Up to nine shelves together take 300 kg, 20 kg per shelf. Connection is at 230 V with approx. 3,400 W or at 115 V with approx. 1,800 W, in each case 50/60 Hz. The net weight is around 110 kg and the packed weight around 161 kg, with packaging dimensions of 930 x 1,380 x 930 mm.
Distinction from the laboratory oven
Without a medical intended purpose, we offer the Memmert universal oven UN260 for laboratories and industry in the same chamber size. Within the medical device line, the UN260m is also available as the UN260mplus with two displays for control.
Selection guide
The next smaller UN160m offers 161 litres with eight shelves and a 210 kg total load. If you need more volume and a mobile housing, the UN450m with 449 litres and likewise a 300 kg total load is the next larger version.
