Memmert Universal Oven UN75plus, 74 l, +20 to +300 °C, TwinDISPLAY

With 74 litres of interior, the Memmert UN75plus universal oven is the third of eight sizes in the UN-plus series. Up to six shelves can be loaded at the same time, and two stainless steel grid shelves are already part of the scope of delivery. Heating is by natural convection only, without an air turbine, and the setting temperature range extends from +20 to +300 °C.

Two sensors, one control concept

Two DIN class A Pt100 sensors work in 4-wire measurement and monitor each other, and if one fails, the second automatically takes over its function. Control is via the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY, an adaptive multifunctional digital PID microprocessor controller with two high-resolution TFT colour graphic displays. The setting accuracy is 0.1 °C up to a setpoint temperature of 99.9 °C and 0.5 °C above that. Programmes can be created, transferred and managed via Ethernet or USB with the AtmoCONTROL software, and the programme sequence is retained in the event of a power failure.

Load and connection

The interior of the UN75plus measures 400 x 560 x 330 mm, and the housing measures 585 x 944 x 514 mm externally plus 56 mm for the door handle. A total load of up to 120 kg is permitted, with a maximum of 20 kg per shelf. The mains connection is 230 V with approx. 2,500 W, and anyone who needs 115 V instead orders the factory option X2 at no extra charge, with approx. 1,800 W of power.

Temperature monitoring and additional functions

A mechanical temperature limiter of protection class 1 according to DIN 12880 switches off the heating approx. 20 °C above the maximum oven temperature, and an adjustable temperature monitor of protection class 3.1 or an adjustable temperature limiter of protection class 2 can additionally be selected on the display. AutoSAFETY follows the setpoint at a freely selectable distance and reports deviations visually and audibly. With HeatBALANCE, the heating power distribution between the upper and lower heating group can be shifted by -50 to +50 per cent, and a self-diagnosis system supports fault finding.

Guide to choosing the right size

Anyone who can manage with four shelves and 80 kg total load will find the smaller variant in the UN55plus with 53 litres, which is 160 mm lower with the same footprint. If more volume or more than 120 kg total load is needed, the UN110plus with 108 litres and 175 kg permitted load is one size up, although it accommodates a maximum of five shelves, see the size table below.

Individual requirements and procurement service

For the UN75plus, the 115 V voltage variant, a full-view glass door, temperature throttling and interior lighting with interior socket, among other things, can be ordered from the factory. A nearly gas-tight interior and a roller frame can also be ordered from the factory. Additional stainless steel grid shelves and perforated trays, drip trays, a wall bracket, levelling feet and a stacking kit are available as accessories. We arrange calibrations, qualification documents according to DIN 12880:2007-05 and maintenance contracts on request. For individual requirements, we will advise you personally.
